Dr. Jan and her staff at Palmer Lake Veterinary Clinic are THE BEST! Our shih-tzu, Bouncer, was diagnosed with anal cancer a year and a half ago and thanks to Dr. Jan's treatment plan, Bouncer is still bouncing around! We are thankful that Dr. Jan is on the case! The personal attention to detail that she gives Bouncer is greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Palmer Lake Veterinary clinic. They are professional, friendly and courteous and will take the time to properly care for your pet. I feel that they truly do want the best for your pet!

We have been taking our Malamute to Dr.Jensen for over 9 years. Recently, our dog became seriously ill. Every pet owner knows this tragic feeling of not being able to help an important part of your family, your precious pet. Dr. Jensen has gone above and beyond any vet I have ever encountered, and I have had many pets over the years with many problems. She has more compassion than I have seen, but as important, she has so much knowledge to help you understand and be aware of what is happening and keeping you posted...along again, with much compassion. We are still unsure of our dogs outcome and with much prayer and the constant care Dr. Jensen is giving our "baby".....we have much peace believing she is so qualified, along with her nurturing of our dog...more than I can express here...that the best is being giving in this situation and she will do everything she can to save our precious pet. Words are not enough to tell how grateful we are for a wonderful person as Dr. Jensen.

Newly moved to Palmer Lake, my small 12 pound dachshund was viciously attacked by a coyote. We had not even gotten a vet yet, so the emergency clinic in Colorado Springs recommended Dr. Jensen. We really did not think that our little Daffy would survive, but Dr. Jensen agreed to take on the responsibility of trying to save her life. It was 3 months of tender, dedicated care from Dr. Jensen before we even knew that Daffy would survive. Dr. Jensen saw her daily for a few weeks. She came in on her days off just for Daffy. Once or twice she took Daffy to her home because she was so worried about leaving her at the clinic overnight. Her whole staff was wonderful to Daffy and to me, the worried "mother". After many trials, not sure if Daffy would make it...she became a survivor! Now it is 3 years later and you would never believe that she had ever been ripped up so terribly. She is an active, healthy dog...AND she LOVES to go to the vet. I have never had a dog that starts yelling and pulling on her leash to get INTO the vet's! It always cracks me up, after the horrible time she had trying to survive, that she can't wait to greet everyone in the clinic. I think Dr. Jensen went far above the call of duty to save my Daffy, and we will always be grateful to her!

I have been going to Dr. Jensen for all of my pets needs for 5 years now. I actually live several miles south of Palmer Lake Veterinary clinic, and travel to take my precious pets, because of the excellant care that I receive there. When it was time for me to let my old girls (dogs) go, she was there for me, and my dogs. I've never seen such kindness and integrity at any vet clinic that I have ever been to.
