I purchased a new puppy at a pet store and was told to go to Adams County Animal Hospital for a free exam within one week. The person I spoke to on the phone was courteous and friendly and I was scheduled to come in the next day. I noticed how clean the hospital was when I got there and that it didn't have any odors at all.When I met the doctor, he seemed to like his job and my new puppy. He examined Annie carefully and explained that she had a mild case of Kennel Cough.He recommended a blood test and test for parasites .The tests were not part of the free exam but I thought it was worth it to find out all of my new dog's health issues. Annie's blood tests were normal but she did have Giardia. I was given some medicine for the Kennel Cough and giardia.The doctor asked if there were any questions that I might have. I said I wish I had a human doctor as thorough and kind as he was. I'll be back in 2 weeks for a follow up examination and vaccines

I have been talking my pets here for years and WILL NOT go anywhere else. The doctors and staff have always been great and have always provided quality care to my pets. Dogs, cats, birds....doesn't matter which ones they see. They treat them like they would treat their own pets! So I would highly recommend talking your pets to them!

I recently brought my 2 cats to Adams County Animal Hospital for their annual check up. I found the front staff to be very pleasant and helpful. I was only in the waiting room for a short amount of time even though the clinic seemed relatively busy. Doctor Berman examined my cats. He was very gentle with my temperamental calico Amelie, who doesn't like anyone to touch her except me. The exam was very thorough and to the point which was what my cat really needed in an exam. My other cat Cory, was not happy being there. She has a hard time traveling in the crate getting there and was agitated when we arrived. Dr Berman was very efficient in making it the most pleasant exam possible. The whole experience only took about 20 minutes for both cats. I felt my cats were taken care and I was too. I will bring my cats back!!! Thank you Dr. Berman!
