After seeing some pretty off-putting online reviews, we had no choice but to visit at 1AM with our dog one night. I was very pleasantly surprised in every respect. Freshly cleaned facility, prices were fair, treatment options were clearly explained and the most expensive one was not pushed on us (not even a little bit), and the staff was great. I don't know if we got lucky or there are new employees there, but our sole visit here so far was as good as it could have been. We will be FAR less hesitant about returning should something come up in the future.

My daughter and I had to rush our VERY sick and dying 7 month old puppy to Northside Emergency Pet Clinic ONLY because our regular vet was closed being that it was later in the evening. We were shocked at the complete and total rudeness of the entire staff and the lack of willingness to provide us with quick assistance. Our puppy was obviously in severe pain and not a single person in that place gave a damn!! ALL they were concerned with was money, money and more money. We were placed into a small room and the only contact we had with any staff was the receptionist waiting for our money. Because we didn't have enough cash on hand, every place was closed to cash a check so we had to wait for my son in law to arrive. They wouldn't examine or even provide our tiny puppy with any pain medication without money, so for the three hours it took, they let her suffer terribly. This made me physically sick to my stomach to witness the severe coldness in each and every one of these individuals. Finally the nurse came to get my puppy and with a nasty attitude told us she had to take her in the back to put a catheter into her small, dehydrated arm, after the Parvo test was done and results were negative. First of all it's standard procedure to do this type of thing in the room on the table we were in. When I questioned why that was necessary, she replied, "Well you want her put down don't you?" With tears I answered yes but still don't know what the catheter was for. I have lost pets before and that step was NEVER taken. She told us she needed to do it NOW or she'd have to put it in her heart to administer medication. The vet came in within minutes and gave her the shots and listened to her heart an said, "She's dead", never once saying sorry. I asked her personally what should we do with our poor deceased puppy. For MORE money they could hold her in their freezer but since we had no more funds, we were told three disgusting and quite disturbing things....1) Per the Vet, "call your local garbage man and find out where the pet dump is. 2) Per the vet, "find a place to bury her but make sure it's very deep or the cyotes will dig her up and eat her OR 3) Per the vet, "take her home and put her in your own freezer until you can figure this out." JUST SICK!! I just hope that if anyone ever needs emergency type help for your special furry friends, DO NOT go here!! These people are not humane, mean and cruel. When the nurse was taking my puppy to the back, she grabbed her from the table and she just flopped and whimpered. Her clipboard was more important than my puppy. I wanted to hit her but I was more in shock at what I was witnessing. I personally plan on reporting this to all the News stations, the ASPCA, The Humane Society and the better business bureau as well. If losing our puppy wasn't bad enough, to have my daughter see this as well. All I can say is PLEASE take this as a warning and NEVER take your animal here.....well unless you have a TON of money. Regular people do not get treated the same......sad and sick!!

We had to put our 18-year-old cat to sleep last night. We couldn't get get ahold of our own veterinarian, so we ended up going to Northside Emergency Pet Clinic. They were so respectful and patient. They let us spend time with our cat, telling us goodbye, and even when the time came to put him to sleep, the vet was amazingly respectful, telling us, "There's no rush; I'm on your time now. You let me know when you're ready." We were so thankful to find a place that allowed us to grieve and treated our beloved pet and our family with so much kindness.

The doctor that helped my dog didn't know how to take care of her teeth and was very stern during our entire visit. She did not seem very intelligent and I think i knew more about my dog then she did. She changed her story like 3 times and by then I just wanted to get out. They charged for for a small house payment to get a few stitches in my dog that most likely were not needed. Save yourself the hassle. I would really like to see them fail. they are horrible to animals and their owners. My dog is a very easy going fellow and this chick made him squirm.

Brought our Sheltie in because she was having problems breathing. They were able to determine that there was fluid around her lungs and referred us to an Animal Hospital in Boulder that specialized in resperatory issues. Dr. Amer was very, very helpful in getting her the care she needed and, also getting us referring us to a place that was well equipped to handle the breathing issues. Don't want to be back but, if necessary, we'd refer these folks in a heartbeat.
