I had been going to this vet for several years with 3 pets at a time. In the past they have provided consistent and excellent care and remembered who I was and who my pets were. If you want a thorough examination then do make an appointment. If you only need a quick check up or vaccinations then the walk in clinic is very fast. However, they do not allow in-tact animals to be seen. I also took one of my cats in that had a nasty abscess on a walk-in day because I could not wait any longer, and the treatment was insufficient which resulted us going to the emergency vet the following day. They really are a great vet, but I believe they have too many patients now to get the full attention that we need for our furry family. I believe in seeing several vets for different things and so I will continue to come here for walk in vaccinations but for anything more in depth I will take them to the Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, who they have a good relationship with.

My Emily is my child, not my pet and Dr. Foreman at Lakeside Animal Hospital totally got that. She was wonderful as was the rest of the staff. I have had Em for 13.5 years and have driven up to 640 miles ONE WAY to take her to her original vet in Montana, now I don't have to do that! Thank you so much, Lakeside Animal Hospital. It is fantastic having a vet half a mile away for the first time in a decade!

This place is awesome. I got a great feel walking in, the staff was very nice. There was just a short wait and the front desk girl came over to give my dog some treats. The vet was very knowledgeable. She prescribed a medication and was very up front about the pros and the cons and what to watch for and what our goals were. You can tell that she is an animal lover.
