Rather than bore you with a long sob pet story, let me save you some time. All this place cares about is money. I'm out $2000 and my dog still can't walk on all fours, despite the PROMISES Dr. Yarrow and her vet techs made. How would you feel if your doctor insisted on a $50 office visit payment when you brought your pet in because something was wrong following their surgical procedures....on CHRISTMAS EVE!!!! And that's just the beginning of the shakedown. Go to Branford Veterinary Hospital instead, which is only a block away from this awful place.

My bf and I were very impressed with MPVH. It was our first time going with our new puppy. For the past 5 yrs I went to Montowese Vet when I had my previous dog. The vet there was good but she was mean/rude to her assistants. Coming to MPVH was a completely different world then what I was used to for the 5 yrs. All the staff was very friendly and I felt very comfortable. They treated our puppy with gentleness and care. I am very happy I found our new vet ;)

They give you a bill before they will even take care of your beloved animal. My cat had a severe blockage $939 , they wanted paid before they would help my cat. I asked will he survive the operation, they said he may not, within minutes my cat started to pass , so I had to say goodbye and stop his suffering.. It was very hard.. I've taken one of my other cats there and they (not dr.yarrow) was so caring.. The doctor that took care of her was so nice. I didn't get the bill till the end.. Will I go back NO !!

We were referred to Mill Pond by family friends after moving to the area. At the time we had one dog and two cats. Both Dr. Yarrow and Don were excellent with our dog and Dr. Carter is great with our cats. We adopted another dog and had territory issues between the two female dogs. Don was the only male our new dog would let near her and he very calmly explained different ways to stop and eventually end both our dogs territory issues. Dr. Yarrow demonstrated for me how to calmly but assertively control our new adoptee. They not only treated our animals but educated us on how to affectively control our "fighting females". After every visit we always get a phone call asking how our dogs or cats are feeling the next day. I would recommend them to any one in area.

Dr. Yarrow has been our vet for well over 2 decades. Over the years, she has proven to be a loving, caring care provider. Some dogs we had during that time had health problems; Dr. Yarrow's care extended their lives and provided them with a quality of life that I don't believe any other vet could have provided. I would never take my pets to anyone else; and everyone we have referred to Mill Pond has been ecstatic over the diagnostic abilities and quality of care received. As for our dogs...well, how many people can say that their pets are happy and excited about going to the vet? The staff, and especially Don, are fantastic, and the new facility provides the highest level of veterinary technology.
