I cannot understand why my pets want to go to EHAC. They never have fresh tuna for my cats and refuse to play fetch with my dogs. They may like the prompt friendly service and the professional attitude, but animals should rather eat and play than kept healthy. I have had to lose two best friends to EHAC and have had the joy of Doctor B give us our happiness in adoption. It's nice having all their records in one place as I might not be the best file clerk.

We brought Stephen & Jaime's Corgi, Isabella, for her first visit today. AMAZINGLY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! Meticulous facility, warm, caring and knowledgeable staff and couldn't be happier! Thanks again!

I have always gone to another animal hosptial in East Hartford, but their prices were waaay too high to get my kitten spayed, so a friend of mine recommended I try this place. I was a little leery because I've always brought my pets to the other hospital, but I decided to take a chance and I'm so happy I did!!! Their hospital is sparkling clean and the staff and doctor there are just great! They also have the cutest house cat they call marmalade. She even has her own facebook page and t-shirts! Hahahaha! (My husband and I really got a kick out of that!) I would highly recommend this place!

I'm surprised to hear that some people gave bad reviews. I have seen Dr. Barrios at East Hartford Animal Clinic in the past with a previous pet and had an excellent experience. This time I had a sick monitor lizard. I was feeling very guilty that we had been unable to bring him to the vet sooner as our financial situation was bad. They were very accommodating and got us in as soon as were were able. Dr. Barrios did not judge us for not coming sooner, nor did he try to get us to spend money that he did not have. Instead he was very caring and gave us an honest diagnosis and let us know all the things we could do given the diagnosis and the options. I have been to other vets- hell, I even worked for another vet- and I am positive that the same situation would have other vets recommending things that would have cost hundreds of dollars more with the same ultimate outcome. I appreciated his honesty, caring, and the helpfulness of the staff, the prices, and the convenience of their hours. I will give him high marks to anyone who asks and will return again.

I was referred by a neighbor to this vet when my dog got sick to his stomach. I was charged $50 for an office visit PLUS $200 for 3 shots of I don't know what and some pills to take home too! Then my dog started limping so I had no choice but to bring him back. Upon Dr Barrio checking my dogs leg he wanted the dog to lay down. Extremely hard since his leg was injured and he was having trouble lowering his body weight. Dr Barrio grabbed my dogs far legs and pulled them out from under him and my dog landed with a THUD on his other hind leg. I was so panicked when it happened it was all I could do to grab and catch my dogs head from hitting the ground! I was infuriated and now my dog is limping on both legs! I should have punched that man in the face! AND I had to pay the office visit! For him injuring my dog further?!! I will NEVER go back there!!!
