if you want to be overcharged and treated rudely by the vet, i would recommend this place. She talked down to me and gave me the impression that she didnt see me fit to own a cat. when i brought my cat in for her second visit for vaccinations, instead of doing them right away and keeping it quick for the sake of the cats stress level, she threw a toy around the room first and got her all riled up! then when it was time for the shots, she wouldnt let me hold my own cat to keep her calm. she said i was not QUALIFIED!!! i have had cats my entire life and been to several vets over the years, and i have always felt my pets were well cared for with reasonable costs. i would not recommend this practice to anyone. and i simply can not believe how rude she was! UNACCEPTABLE. i completely agree with the first review on here as well. i had the same problems with them forgetting my appointments even after THEY had called me to confirm the day before. after deciding not to return here, i took my little kitty to T.E.A.M. and they did a phenomenal job on her spay. and for a fraction of the incredibly high costs at westville vets.

I couldn't disagree more with the review that I just read. We have been clients of Veterinary Associates of Westville for close to 30 years and have many friends and family that also use their services without incident or complaint. Dr. Aldrich and his associates have cared for all of our dogs through these 30 years with care and compassion. The tenure of the office staff and veterinary techs of WVA is truly remarkable! We have always found their service to be professional and compassionate!

The front desk staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. The appointment started on time and the office visit overall was very efficient. The vet was attentive and treated me (and my dog!) with respect. Overall, I was really pleased with the service and I will definitely return again when needed.

I do not recommend this vet. The doctor, "Kelly" was so rude to me the two times I saw her that I almost cried both times. She talks down to you, if she talks to you at all. Instead, she would speak to the tech. She also took the offensive when I voiced my concern that I never received her message that my dog was sick and needed medicine. Instead of apologizing for the mixup, she said it was my responsibility. I apologized for perhaps missing that message, but she or the office should have followed up to make sure I picked up the meds. Instead, they sent me a bill in the mail for the drugs I had never picked up. I was horrified that my pet was sick and they had no concern whatsover for the actual follow through. At my previous vet, they actually called after any procedure or start of a medicine regimen just to make sure the pet was doing ok! The office staff also messed up each time I had an appointment. For the first one, they called the day before to remind me, but when I arrived they said they had no record of my appointment. Eventually they found it. For the second, they failed to call with a reminder, and when I called to double check the appointment, they said they couldn't find one for me. I then missed it and made another appointment, and was subsequently chastised when I came in for the makeup for missing the earlier appointment. I have never experienced such a mismanaged practice and unprofessional doctor and staff. Perhaps the founding doctor, a man I never met, is caring and professional.
