Unless you have money to burn, live in Woodbridge, or like being taken advantage of ; avoid at all costs. Your pocketbook will be raped at each visit!

i have been here with my beloved cat elizabeth about 3 times. i called made an appt. went in. it was lovely inside. but the real catcher was not the first visit and exam-where i found dr richter to be a great vet..but the second visit..which "proved" to "picky me" that there is NOWHERE ELSE i would ever go again. the first visit was long. about an hour. first visit-told him all her troubles (she was then 6) now near 7. he told me that any "case" that is a bit unclear to him he obsesses over during the night and won't let go. he actually did figure out hoe all things connected..with her "problems" and told me what to do. oh i am so happy ..always. she has been fine since!! she does have mold hcm..which he very good with helping in all the best ways..and several issues-worst worry: her not eating much and gaining weight..and other issues..he put all together pepcid ac. it worked. she has gained and is a good weight for her..and she is full of energy and....i am so happy...for HER. we did go in again to have a chck up..see how she was doing on the pepcid ac..and all things were good. bloodwork etc. "you" have no idea how relieved i was. like all of us..we love our best friends/ family/ kids...all fits for elizabeth..and i. we communicate in our ways and are truly ..we enjoy being together. i love her so much. also with dr richter..he is so at ease..i am one who is nervous with vets..and asking questions. i get worried when elizabeth has a problem..and i need to know what is going on. ..dr richter not only is so kind ..he listens to me carefully..and includes me in my baby's health..as we ARE family. and i need very much to know what is going on.so when we leave..i will know what to look for..and -all in all-i need to feel i know what he tells me i understand. if not..he goes over it again. since this first visit where he was so open and keeping me "in the loop" of everything ..i have since been less worried-or.well-i still am worried..but feel i can talk and ask..without feeling guilty or ..anything similar. his wife is the surgeon there..i know i want elizabeth to be there for any thing (which i hope will never ever occur. ..but that is how much i trust. i never felt this before. been to good places..but ..this..dr richter..his knowledge and all of it..is beyond what i have seen since my first love- 20 years ago. as for echocardiograms-and other similar things..they have the top board certified person come in. they have top equipment there. and they LOVE and care in such a way..in other words: elizabeth was calm..and it was all good. best is she is doing so well. this is why i recommend "new england cat care" SO HIGHLY to those who have cat/s. ~ andrea meyers

I had an excellent experience with New England Cat Care. My cat saw Dr. Richter, who was kind, knowledgable, and spent a lot of time answering every question in great detail. Everyone was very friendly and clearly loved cats. I would strongly recommend this veterinarian to any cat owner.

Excellent care. Somewhat pricey. Cats only is a big plus.
