My father had a long hair dachshund and we were looking for an inexpensive vet to take him to. We found this place who took time to explain to us everything! I have always had excellent service here. The spa is excellent as well. There was/is one lady there (i cant recall her name) who my fathers dog loved he got so excited each time we saw her! I am now a proud owner of a short haired dachshund and i will be taking her here!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would!!! The first time I brought my dog in for daycare they tried to overcharge me thinking I wouldn't notice. The second time I brought him in one lady said he was good and had a lot of fun and was happy and not nervous like he was the last time. However, when another lady brought him out to me she told me that she thought he was "aggressive" (my dog was raised with cats and plays with dogs in the dog park a few times a week never once had an issue) so she decided he could not play with the other dogs. She also told me he jumped all over her yet he is trained and does not ever jump on anyone. She also told me she believed he was acting so "hyper" because he was extremely stressed and that he cried the entire day in his kennel. I asked her why the other lady told me he was happy and didn't cry at all, and she said she did not know why she said that. When I asked her who was lying she had no answer. I then called them when I got home to inform them I would not be taking my dog back there and if I needed to get a booster for an influenza shot they made me get which costed 40 dollars. The lady did not bother to ask why I would not be coming back or apologize after I said I had a bad experience. I think the reason no other dogs go to this daycare is because of how poorly trained the staff is (much less trained then my dog). If you care about your animal do not leave it with these people. I wish I read these other reviews before taking my dog there!!

I've taken my dog to both the Rock Springs Animal Hospital and River Oaks Animal Hospital for years and only had good experiences. Sadly, when I called to report that my dog was lost and asked if anyone had brought in a lost dog, their only response was "No." I wasn't able to leave my name and number. No concern on their part. Appalling lack of caring. Every other vet in the area took my contact information and dog's description. Will never go back to these people.

I had been taking my chihuahua Margarita to Pet Care Center of Apopka since 2006. I took Margarita in this past Friday, 02/17/2012 when they opened at 7 a.m. because Margarita was breathing heavy and rapidly. I get there at 7 a.m. and the receptionist proceeds to send me away until 9 a.m. when a vet comes in. No calling the vet in for an emergency just send me away. So I come back at 9 a.m. when a vet is there. Before they even try to stablize her they are worried about payment while my Margarita is grasping for air and her gums are blue. After they get payment and only then do they take her back and put her on oxygen. Needless to say she died at 10:30 a.m. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET FIND ANOTHER VET!!!! I am looking into filing a complaint and a possible lawsuit for their negligence and malpractice.

All they care about is your money not your pets! Took my 17yr old beagle in they said he had a large mass and was internally bleeding some where, and they said they could give antibiotics that might work... Why make him suffer to make me feel better? They continued to try and concince me not to put him to sleep... He lived 17 happy years... It was hard enough I had to put my best friend to sleep... Uh... I do not recommend them!
