My normally very active 2-year-old cat, Linus, had been back and forth to the litter box one night when I got home around 10:30. Nothing was happening each time he would go in there, so of course I began to panic. I called Calusa and was told to bring him in immediately as urinary blockages can be very dangerous, even fatal, especially with male cats. I took him right in and they guided me each step of the way, letting me know what was wrong, what needed to be done, and what was optional. It may be a bit expensive, but I don't have much to compare it to as I have not had to go to an after-hours emergency vet before. The place is clean and beautiful, but most importantly, they were a part of the team, along with Dr. Jaffe in Boca Raton (his regular vet where I transferred him the next day), who saved my little guy!
