I would give Dr. Covino, his Staff and AWC of Bonita higher than 5 Stars if possible, but since the system does not go higher, I have to be satisfied with a 5 Star Rating. They are wonderful! Dr. Covino has been taking care of our 3 year old Burmese kitty since we picked him up from our Breeder when he was 6 months old. We recently added a Burmese kitten to our family and we are happy to say that Dr. Covino is his vet as well. We could not speak highly enough about Dr. Covino and his Staff. We bring our Boys in twice yearly for wellness exams and preventative care. We trust them completely. We highly recommend Dr. Covino and the AWC of Bonita. Dr. Covino and his Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They answer all of our questions and concerns and always take the time to do so. Our Boys love the AWC of Bonita and so do we!!

If you love your pets DO NOT take them to Dr. Covino. He almost killed my cat! He kept her in her pet carrier for 5 hours before he got around to her. Then he gave her 4 times the amount of anesthesia and it almost killed her. All he cares about is $$$$$ He didnt even care about making things right, he had his mother handle everything else after that! All she does is lie and make decisions for him. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO HIM

We have been taking our rescue dogs and cats to Dr. Joe Covino from the day he opened the doors of the Animal Wellness Center. We now send every single one of our friends there. Everyone thinks their Vet is the best but over and over, one after another, after something happens and they want a better answer we send them to the team at AWC and once they experience Dr. Joe and his staff they call and thank us for sending them there and wish they had gone sooner. Dr. Joe has done more for our pets then he can understand, especially our Big Red Dog.

Fantastic!! I take my dog to Dr. Covino and couldn't be more thrilled. Brody was stricken with Heartworm, two bad knees and a bad hip when we found him. Dr. Covino and his staff nursed my puppy back to health and happiness. Beyond the top notch medical care, AWCB gives every one of their patients kindness and compassion, so much so that Brody whines to go to the vet! AWCB is the best!

When I could not get the help I needed the Wellness Center of Bonita & Dr. Joe Covino were recommended to me by a friend. I could not believe the time, care and concern I received. After my pet was misdiagnosed on several occasions with numerous reputable vets Dr. Joe took the time and the energy to help figure it all out. He is a top notch veterinarian and an exceptional human being. If you even have one doubt about your pets health do not hesitate to take them to Dr. Joe!
