Dr. Mike is great and he knows his stuff! My family and I have been taking our pets to see him for over 20 years. He truly cares about his clients and their pets.
Dr. Mossler and his team have taken incredible care of all of my animals for almost 15 years. They are not only very knowledgeable, they are very compassionate toward both myself and my animals. Dr. Mossler is Dr. Doolittle come to life! Your animals will get excellent care at this hospital. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!
Can't say enough good about this veterinary hospital. Over the years (years!) I've had dogs, cats, and birds - never had a problem - only the best veterinary care for my animals - there's something to be said about becoming a familiar face at a business, any business - of course (!) they are friendlier to people they've known for years - get over it! Dr. Mossler is the kindest and most caring man you could ever hope to have caring for your pets! Dr. Weber is also pretty awesome! You gotta love these veterinarians - they work all day and then still take the time to take care of injured wildlife at the end of their day - for free! Maybe if the person with the cat with the bad tooth had not waited so long to bring her 'baby' to be treated it wouldn't have nearly died - maybe the veterinarian she saw later saw the cat as it was in recovery from the excellent and 'reasonably priced' care she received from Bayshore Animal Hospital!
My family and I have owned dogs since the day I was born. I have had the opportunity to know many veterinarians over the years. I can honestly say Dr. Mossler and the staff of Bayshore Animal Hospital are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and caring. Our current dog, a Scottish Terrier, has experienced both allergies and skin problems, and Dr. Mossler has treated him with 100% success. Also, this is one of the few Animal Hospitals that has the capacity, experience, and compassion to treat wild animals, often without financial reimbursement. Clearly, Dr. Mossler and the staff of Bayshore Animal Hospital are totally committed to the health and welfare of ALL the animals in our community. I would strongly, and wholeheartedly, recommend Dr. Mossler and the Bayshore Animal Hospital to everyone. I have informed Dr Mossler that he is never allowed to retire :)
When I recieved a phone call for a reminder. The woman calling wasn't very friendly at all. Once we got to our appointment. We were told there was a specific area for cats in the far right corner of the waiting room. We sat in the waiting room for an hour just waiting. However we arrived earlier than our appointment. People came in the people behind the desk seemed more friendly to the regular clients than to the new clients. No one else sat in the cat area, but us. We had brought our cat in for an exam to have his tooth removed which was very infected and extremely loose. Once we were back there one of doctors a dark haired lady. Looked at his teeth, which I felt was very rough in her handling of our cat. She showed us our cats teeth was very infected. Some sort of disease, I forgot what it's called. Without numbing him up she pulled the really bad tooth right then and there, which left the root in his mouth. She told us it might reabsorb into his gum. She checked the rest of his teeth to see if they were loose. His other fang was loose, but NOT in the condition of his other fang that was really bad. This tooth was loose, but not loose enough to pull without numbing him up which she pulled the tooth, the not so bad tooth right then and there. She handled his mouth without care! MY baby should have been numbed before any extraction as well he should have been on antibiotics before pulling his one tooth. After being done, she began to clean his mouth with some cleaning solution, but she kept touching his gum socket with the tip of the dispenser. After being done she checked his weight and cleaned his ears. Gave him a shot of antibiotics and painkiller. Prescribed medicine. Sure the price was right for doing all of this. However, with the rough handling of our cat. Once our cat was home, the next day he threw up the antibiotic. We called back to ask what could be wrong with him. They told us he could be septic. He got really weak and wouldn't eat, drink, or even go to the bathroom. Sad thing is I read the reviews for this place before going there. There's one thing people love more than people that's their dogs and cats. I will begin to believe the reviews where my cat is concerned. I'm surprised this place is still in business. We took our cat to Braden River Animal Hospital thinking he wouldn't make it, we signed papers to have him put to sleep. Cause he was so weak. As we came in Braden River Animal Hospital it didn't take long to see the doctor maybe 10 minutes to be called back. During the consultation with Dr. Clekis he offered our cat a second chance at life which we gladly accepted. Right now our kitty is being cared for at Braden River Animal Hospital, on new meds. Whatever, the outcome we are EXTREMELY Grateful to Dr. Clekis for his care and concern as well taking the time to actually talk to us. I would always choose Braden River Animal Hospital over any other animal hospital down here.
