used Cortez Animal Clinic to board our black lab. We were new to the area in the process of moving from another state. First of all they do not have adequate room to board large dogs and believe they kept him drugged the entire week he was there. When we brought him home he was lithargic, druling and vomiting and we knew something was terribly wrong. I called the clinic to ask them what was wrong with him and only then did they tell me they had given him a shot to calm him down because they said he had gotten upset about another dog being brought in. They should have called us and asked permission before drugging our dog. He was a very sick dog and the drugs did not wear off untiI the next morning. would never trust them with a live animal of mine again.
