I'd give this clinic a mixed review: mostly positive but with a few drawbacks. Positive: Good treatment of animals; reasonable prices. Negative: Front office not run well; untidiness. The best part is that everyone was gentle with my cat, and even used soft voices when I requested that they do so. The one staff member whom I asked told me that she loved working there and that everyone on the staff, including the vet, was excellent at what they did. That gave me a lot of confidence in them as a team. I chose it after a horrible experience with a vet closer to home, and I thought a place called "Kindness" must have been named by someone who cared a lot for animals. It's a pretty long drive from my house, but I had a coupon (from the clinic website) for a first visit, and my cat needed some help as she wasn't passing urine. The first person I met was Dr. Nancy, who was sitting behind the reception area. She has very kind eyes and a soft voice, both of which made me think she'd be good with animals. And she was -- but it took a while for my cat to be seen, both times I went there. The clinic does not seem to be run very efficiently. I had to wait quite a while both times I took my cat there, and no one told me how long I'd be waiting or when I'd be seen. The first time, I had to ask the vet, who was sitting at the reception area and apparently not busy -- that seemed odd to me. (f she could sit quietly at the front desk, why couldn't she see my cat?) The second time, I was put into a room and saw the vet fairly quickly, but then there was a very, very long wait while someone else came to do the procedure. Again, no one told me what to expect. That's not a terrible problem, but they could easily do the "front office" stuff a bit better. I think they should have a full-time receptionist to take calls and welcome clients. The office, too, does seem a bit overcrowded and shabby, but I don't care much about that.

Well, I brought my 13 yr old dog Daisy to this clinic because she had a huge tumor on her stomach. They agreed to put me on a payment plan and take care of the tumor removal, as well as, spay her. Went to pick her up, tumor all gone, given my paperwork as to what they had done to her. Showed that the tumor was removed as well as being fixed. Everything seemed ok until about 2 months later, when my husband thought Daisy was dying, even said good bye to her gave her love and told her what a great family dog she had been over 13 years. He goes to bed and we wake up the next morning to Daisy and 4 pups.(YEAH). So I call the clinic and they agree that they had forgotten to actually spay her and that they would take the fee off of my bill and worm and give first shots to puppies for my trouble. Well needless to say Daisy did die 2 weeks later and I truly believe that it was their fault because she never should've gotten pregnant at 13 and just having surgery. So fast forward 8 months to now I have paid the vet completely off, never missing a payment and they have the nerve to take another 75.00 out of my account after it had already been paid off. Debbie at Kindness has given me the run around for a week now as to where my refund is at. REALLY PEOPLE. Not only did you kill my dog but now your making money off my money. Yall suck and I will never do business or refer anyone to your establishment. EVER

NO STARS AT ALL FOR THIS PLACE. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO TOOK HER VERY SICK DOG HERE, VERY HIGH TEMP, AND THIS PLACE WOULD NOT SEE THE DOG BECAUSE MY FRIEND WOULD NOT HAVE MONEY UNTIL THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY. THE DOG DIED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. IT WAS ONLY 2 1/2 YEARS OLD. I HOPE THESE PEOPLE CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT. SO MUCH FOR CARING FOR ANIMALS. SO SAD. SHAME ON YOU.

This place gets NO STARS!!!! The vet is the most uncaring and rude person I have ever dealt with. I took my dog is for lesions on her back. I waited in the exam room for an inordinate amount of time and when the "vet" finally came in, she dug one finger into my dog's fur and without further examination, determined she had a ring worm. She then ordered her tech to clip a patch of her hair off of her back, which she later tried to charge me $30 (for clipping and cleaning wound) which she did not do. Once the lesion was exposed no medication was applied and no covering for the oozing wound. All of this non-sense for the extravagant price of $200+ dollars. It wasn't until I read the bill and complained that she did not agree to knock off $100 from the bill. REALLY???? She would have ripped me off for an ADDITIONAL $100 for things she did not do!!! Our now very competent veterinarian, has not only informed me of the numerous patients he has had to salvage from her hands, but he also informed me of the precautions and procedures she failed to perform. Please if you love your animal like I do, never EVER trust Nancy Gerhardt with your beloved pet. She is a rip off and does not have any business taking care of any animals!!!!
