It's funny how everyone complains about money, because even other vets up charge for the products you buy. Did you know 99% of clinics, whether it's Banfield or not, increase the sale price by 100% to even 500%? Also, you get what you pay for, and Banfield is actually a corporation so there is no worry when it comes to them trying to rip you off or be shoddy. Think about it, you get what you pay for!! Also, all veterinary services are relatively cheaper than human services- so why don't you stop and think for a second... Animals are like kids! Yes, they're going to cost just as much! You should do more research before getting an animal if you're going to complain about paying for veterinary services. All in all, I do love Banfield. :) Great staff, they really do care about your animal(s) there, and it feels good to know that they do not pressure you to do treatment; you always have an option! Always!

The only reason I came here is bc my boyfriend recommended I purchase the puppy plan to cover the expenses of a new pup. I did and it does cover quite a bit. However, I have found they do try to charge too much for a lot of unnecessary things. Don't get me wrong. I love my pup more than anything and WILL pay whatever it take to make her happy and healthy but I also know how other local vets work. Banfield seems to work more as sales people rather than concentration more on the right thing to do. With that said, each time I have gone they seem friendly, high turn over I think because I rarely ever see the same vets twice. VERY LONG wait time too. Even when there aren't many people there. One time I was 20 min early but had to wait in line after telling them I'm here...the girl was new I think and didn't understand I had an appointment. When the line finally cleared, one of the ladies rudely said, "yea, your actually 15 min late but we'll still take you". I said no, I was here early by 20 but she walked off ignoring me. I didn't appreciate that AT ALL. All in all it's been just OK. My pup is healthy and happy so that's all that matters but when the insanely expensive pup plan runs out after one year I will be taking my business else where. I don't want to be with a company that will auto renew my contract if I don't say anything to them. There is one very sweet lady there with an accent I can't place.. she IS the ONLY reason I haven't left yet.

I do NOT recommend Banfield to anyone. We are stuck with the annual plan but we have been taking our cat to another vet despite of us having the plan with Banfield. They always talk about money more than anything and ALWAYS try to sell you extra stuff. Waiting time is always so long, poor staff at the front desk is doing everything by herself. I would never take my pets there if they are actually ill...
