Nice place. Dr. Metzler and the staff are really helpful and friendly. I take my mixed breed dog and my cat there. I really appreciate that they go over all of the proposed treatments and their costs before doing anything. My cat had a bad UTI once and they took care of her very well and for a reasonable price. Very up front. Prices are fair and the quality of care is top notch.

Dr. Metzler and his staff saved my dog when another vet botched her surgery. Now I take my dog and two cats to him with any of my needs! Staff is friendly and helpful and their facilities are clean and beautiful.

Over the last 30 years I have encountered many veterinarians in several states. Never have I been as impressed by or grateful to any of them as I am to Dr. Metzler. His clinical expertise is impressive, but it is his excellent "bedside" manner of straight talk, compassionate care and common sense that encourages me to give such a glowing recommendation. We just moved to the Clearwater area and I needed to find a veterinarian for my dog. While performing a search on Google, I found out about Metzler Veterinary Hospital and scheduled an appointment. I took my dog there this morning for a new patient evaluation. Dr. Metzler and his veterinary technician, Chelsea, were very warm, welcoming, and compassionate. They really focus on your concerns and observations. My dog suffers from skin allergies, and Dr. Metzler is extremely knowledgeable concerning dermatological conditions. We are so thrilled to have discovered such a great veterinarian who is only minutes away from our home. After being treated in the office with injections of cortisone and an antibiotic, my boy is feeling much better, and he is not itching or pulling any fur out. I highly recommend Dr. Metzler and Metzler Veterinary Hospital for tender, loving care of your pet and family member.

My kitty and I absolutely love Metzler. They provide wonderful, holistic care. I have boarded my senior kitty three times with Metzler. The first two times, I was scared and worried terribly since we've not had good experiences with other boarding arrangements. But all three times with Metzler, kitty looks happy, content, and all around great when I pick her up. Claire and the rest of the staff are wonderful. I feel safe leaving kitty in their care and kitty comes home happy.
