Dr. Higgins is an amazing vet. Due to moving around, my dogs have jumped from vet to vet; however, I cannot imagine going to anywhere but Davie Creek Animal Hospital now. She is kind, understanding and patient - to both dogs and people! My beagle is a pain when it comes to going to the vet but she manages to sooth him and get the job done. Her staff is awesome too; very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Davie Creek Animal Hospital!! :)

I met Dr. Higgins while she was moonlighting at St. Francis Animal Hospital. I immediately surprised to see that she took such an active interest in my pet's needs. She was concerned about my dog's overall well-being; she actually engaged herself with the animal and appeared to try to develop a relationship with both the pet and owner. I feel that like that component is very important in a veterinarian, just like one would desire that with a good primary care physician for one's personal health. She also has a great knowledge of traditional and holistic approaches, like Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, which is useful for those seeking animal care in that methods. She has ambient sounds, small plants, and fountains arranged in the office to develop a sense of Feng Shui. The staff, though small, seems close-knit and continue that same theme of building a personal relationship. Dr. Higgins has a natural love for animals and people that carries into her work, and I recommend her for anyone seeking veterinarian services.

I don't think you could ask for more in a veterinarian. Dr. Higgins's office is conveniently located in Davie on University Dr. I had a good feeling from the first time I called her clinic and was greeted by a very friendly voice on the other line. She and her staff are warm, personable, and attentive. The office is clean and fresh-smelling. I could tell that she really has a love for what she does by the way she gently and thoroughly treated my pit/boxer mix. I also like that she offers the best of both traditional and holistic animal care. I'm so lucky to have found such a great vet!

Dr. Higgins and her staff has taken great care of both of our dogs! She is very caring and calm with them, even when one of them is always a handful when visiting the vet! :)

You have tried the rest now try the BEST.... Dr. Higgins offers the best of both tradition and tradtional Chinese medicine under one roof. Our 13 year old Maltese has a variety of health issues and under the TLC and experience of Eastern modalities using Chinese herbs, acupunture and cold laser therapy along with a change in food under the TCVM food therapy chart I am happy to say Sydne is thriving.....you will be impressed as well with the staff,,small but mighty ....the best experience ever....
