I have been a client here for almost 35 years. I have always been happy with the doctors and the staff. I have had somewhere between 10 and 15 animals treated here. However -- a few months ago, I sent my daughter to pick up a dog and forgot to send a check. When they called I was unavailable, and they would not release my dog until I paid, which I did, by credit card, when I was available. Then, today, I took my dog in for a nail trim, decided to leave him for an exam. I gave my daughter a check, only to get a call that they don't take checks, and wouldn't release my dog. There has NEVER been a problem with my check. It's a new policy, but they didn't bother to notify their clients. I am taking my three dogs and my daughter's cat to a new vet. At the very least, they could have told me when I took my dog in this morning. Good vets, lousy business people.
