LOVE this PLACE! The front staff is very nice! Everytime I call, I don't wait more than a few mins to talk to anyone. And when I show up for my appointment, I also just sit for a few mins (~ 5 mins) and I'm called up to go into one of the rooms. They have separate rooms for cats and dogs (this is a plus since my husband is highly allergic to cats). You do wait a bit in the room but the staff comes in to always apologize for the wait (i guess to acknowledge you are there). They also take the dog out of the room to get its weight, temp and respiration but they bring her right back. Everytime I go, the nurse wants a full idea of the dog before vet sees her. They would ask what other meds the dog takes, the dogs diet, etc. and of course the reason for being seen. One occasion I took my dog in because she developed a pimple-like rash all over body. Dr. Chris Simmons exam her whole body and the staff took a little bit of the sample and diagnosed her problem as allergies. Dr. Simmons probably took 30-40 mins to explain what is happening to her, the treatment now and what would be expected in the future. He was amazing, so thorough and informative. He also gave a typed up discussion of what we talked about. They also called a few days later to check on the dog and its progress. Every time I come it's nothing but great care. And I'm glad to have found a vet who truly cares about animals and the front staff who cares about customer service. The only disadvantage is that it's pricey and there is a little bit of a wait in the room, but that's it.

250$ for a set of shots and deworming what a joke. no thank you. receptionist is extremely rude, take your business elsewhere.

Disney World for DOGS!!! This is the cleanest, and greatest DAYCARE for dogs. My dog Oliver is so tired after a day of play,he sleeps for an entire day. I have also boarded Oliver there and find that the staff is so attentive and caring that it makes leaving your 4 legged child not so bad. I would recommend to anyone !!!!!!

Everyone at Simmons Veterinary Hospital is very pleasant and always tries to be helpful and anxious to be sure all our needs are met. We have two dogs who have had their share of health problems and we always feel confident that they are getting the very best care here. .Additionally we have boarded them several times and it has always been a good experience for the dogs and we have always felt relaxed that they were in good hands.

I stumbled across Dr. Simmons on a really sad day.. My beloved 19 year old cat BamBam was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge.( I found Simmons name in the phone book.. this was after calling a few places and was told I needed an appointment.).. I called with tears in my voice and was told to come right over. My family and I were treated with such respect and compassion. This was over 10 years ago and since then we have adopted 2 dogs from local shelters. I would never even consider going any where else. I have boarded both dogs at Barkers and they love it there. When I just take them in for a check up, they actually get mad that they are not staying. I feel like it's family. I love the place and more important... Sam and Dixie Wehle Love it more.
