Dr. McCashion recently found a lump on my dogs chest. After taking an x-ray to make sure it hadn't spread to her lungs I made an appointment to have it removed. During that visit, my dog was also to get fixed and get her teeth cleaned and nails cut. The next day I had to bring her again to re-take the x-rays cause the first one was inconclusive and she wanted to be sure so I did, and wasn't charged for the second x-rays. After the second x-rays showed it hadn't spread I came online to check reviews before I took her. Since I saw a few bad reviews I got real nervous and even brought it up when I brought her in. The staff was very understanding, didn't get stand-offish or anything like that and very politely and genuinely told me if I felt more comfortable taking her to a specialist by all means do that. When I looked at random vets and saw ALL had some bad reviews, I felt a lot better and since they were so professional and assured me that Dr. McCashion wouldn't take on something she couldn't do or knows much about I just decided to go ahead and bring her here to get the lump removed. Suffice to say everything went fine and I worried for nothing. Her teeth looked great and her wounds have now totally healed and my little girl is doing just fine, thanks!!!

My family has taken our pets to Companion Animal Hospital since we moved to Florida in the mid-90’s, and I have adopted my last three cats from Dr McCashion. The doctor and her staff have always taken amazing care of my pets, and even after moving about 45 minutes away, I refuse to go to any other vet. She has always been great with my pets, and helped me to make the right choices for health. She absolutely loves animals and is not into it for the money. Had to write a review with my experiences because the negative reviews sound like a totally different office. I highly recommend her and the her staff to anyone.

I have five dogs with various medical needs and I have never had anything but top-notch service from Dr Caroline and her staff. They are compassionate and caring and you can tell Dr. McCashion truly loves the animals that she cares for. She has helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life, and I will never go anywhere else.

Dr Mccashen's incompetence has caused my dog extensive pain and suffering and eventually will cause his death when she failed to identify an easily recognizable rectal tumor during his annual exam. When the dog began to show serious symptoms I called her office and they refused to even see the dog for four days, suggesting I contact Animal Emergency. So, I went to Animal Emergency where the DMV found the tumor immediately, provided medication to make the dog comfortable, and referred me back to Dr Mccashion. Somehow she was suddenly able to see the dog and confirmed the rectal tumor. But, REFUSED to provide any help or comfort for the dog and sent us on our way. She would not even contact a specialist on the dog's behalf. Where is the compassion?

Upon arrival we noticed a half dozen cats lounging around outside. Let's just say that my dog is not a fan of cats. I was able to get by the cats by basically carrying my 50-lb dog through the front door. The staff was friendly and the vet had a great demeanor. This review is not about them or their abilities as a veterinary clinic. As we were checking out, there were cats roaming free inside the waiting room. My dog became curious toward one of the cats. The cat hissed at my dog and then jumped over the counter. It was at this point that the clerk said "maybe it's time that you and your dog go". Wow is all I could say. Unfortunately we are not bringing our dog back to this clinic. So this is just a warning to any dog owners that have issues with cats. It won't be a pleasant visit.
