I've been bringing my dogs to Dr, Chambers since 2007 when one of my dogs was diagnosed with cancer by the southside blvd emergency services. At that time I opted to try dr chambers because my former vet clinic had failed to diagnose the cancer and were more interested in prolonging the visits through insignificant tests. Anyway what impressed me was the concern, the one on one with my dog. She sat on the floor to examine him and talked to him the whole time. We've been with them 6 years and they have taken care of all our dogs since then and they have never disappointed us. It's a small clinic in an old building kind of like the Norman Rockwell feel but I prefer that ambiance and genuine concern to a big hospital who can't remember your dog from one visit to another.

I have been taking my pets to Companion Animal Hospital for the last 9 years. They are very companionate and helpful with all of my pets needs. Now with the transition with the owner the care has stayed the same and the staff is still as wonderful as ever. You can't go wrong with taking your pets to see Dr. Kristen Jones and her staff.

We took our Great Dane to Companion to be neutered. They called about an hour before closing to tell us that our dog was up walking around and doing fine and to come pick him up. When we arrived, she (Dr. Chambers I believe) told us not to be alarmed if we saw a little bit of blood and proceeded to take us to a closet or storage shed for lack of a better word. She said this was the only place they had large enough to put him. When we entered, my dog was laying on the floor in a puddle of blood and clearly still very much sedated, so much so that he did not even recognize me and growled. We tried to get him to stand but every time he moved blood just squirted from his scrotum. The vet got a towel to put under his abdomen to lift him and help my dog to stand as he could not do so on his own. I think someone was not telling the truth about him walking around and feeling fine. It seeded odd that the vet seemed more concerned that we got the dog out of there before closing than with a patient that was bleeding profusely and barely conscious. To make a long story short, we had to take our dog to another vet and finally to the Emergency Animal Hospital on Southside Blvd. to have the sutures redone to stop the bleeding along with several follow-up visits. For nearly two weeks he would not eat and drank very little. He was simply wasting away and we thought he was going to die. Finally in the third week he came around and started to recover. We spent about $2000.00 to to save a healthy dog from his visit to the Companion Animal Hospital. You are forewarned !!!

All of the animals in my family go to see Dr. Chambers and Dr. Bob. They always are super kind and take time and address any and every concern. I live in Texas now and I bring my dogs and cat for a visit once a year and just get their shots and check up done here. LOVE them! They are pretty reasonable as far as price too.
