Our sweet Moses went in this week for what would be his last visit.. he was 13 and 4 months old, a beautiful yellow lab whom we adored. The care he received at Miramar Animal Hospital with Doc Stacie and his wonderful, nurturing, and caring staff was incredible. They thought of everything, and truly showed us how much they love animals. If you are looking for a fantastic place to take your pet, look no further... Miramar Animal Hospital in San Marco is the BEST!!

DO NOT take your pets to this clinic. After 10 years of loyal, albeit expensive, service, today was my family's last day of taking our pets to Miramar. It started when I called to see if my dog was ready to be picked up. The man on the phone stated that he had been ready for some time. Why wasn't I called and notified my dog was finished and ready to be picked up? I don't know, other than chalking it up to poor service, laziness and incompetence. Instead my dog is left to sit there in a kennel for no reason. This was compounded when I received my invoice for the shots and grooming he received for the day. After specifically asking when I dropped him off what the grooming rate was, Miramar tried to tack on another $15. Keep in mind, the "groomer" that is there is not a professional and still learning the trade. They informed me of this before he was cut and I was fine with that, but I did not expect to be charged the rate of a professional. Absurd. When I questioned the fee, the girl at the front desk said it was because it took a long time. Of course it did. He is 95 lbs. GoldenDoodle and your "groomer" is inexperienced. You saw him walk in, it is not the first time he has been to your clinic and yet you stated that it was to be a certain price. Honor your quote! When I questioned the rationale further, the girl at the front desk decided it was time to attack me as a dog owner. She said 3 people had to work on him because I am not grooming him often enough and that he was so dirty and matted. Are you serious!!! These are the types of people you employ?!?!?! When your clinic is called out for deceptive charges, your rebuttal is to attack the way I take care of my dog. Dr. Lazar I am ashamed that you have allowed your clinic to degrade to this level. We will never bring our animals back to your clinic. Please be aware of Miramar Animal Hospital. Their service is terrible and their fees are drastically more than any other animal clinic in Jacksonville. If you don't just hand over your hard earned money, you will be insulted.

We have only ever dealt with Dr. Page whom I have known since he was the Zoo vet way back in the day. The attn, detail and time he takes with our 4-legged treasures is fantastic. We will keep taking them here regardless. Very nice front desk personnel also.

Truly a wonderful and caring group of people. They always answer my questions over the phone. And they are loving and gentle with my Weimaraner puppies. All of the staff are "top drawer"! Excellent service every time!
