!!!!! DISCRIMINATION IN THE FACE ESTABLISHMENT - COLOR OF SKIN (Non caucasian) ISSUE. BOARDING NIGHTMARE, my pet was never washed or bathed (vet techs lie right to your face and charge you immediately), dehydrated, and fed inadequately on numerous occasions during 2014. You pay for what you get, they don't take care of your pets like they would take care of their OWN PETS. VERY VERY HIGH TURNOVER (No loyalty to employees or customers), Outdated medical equipment, extended waiting periods for service, and the bare minimum requirements for boarding animals. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS - STAY AWAY FROM THIS VET!!!!!

I love this Animal Hospital. The Vet always meets you with a smile, he is so friendly and he is just wonderful with all the animals! He takes his time with each animal, Making sure you understand everything pertaining to the care of your animal. You cannot beat thier prices compared to other Vets/Animal hospitals in the area. I love the idea of dropping off your pet or being able to come without an appointment. It is great for busy Moms! I am very pleased and will continue to take my animals there throughout thier lives!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS VET, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT COLOR SKIN, "YES", I SAY IT AGAIN - THEY DON'T HIDE THE FACT ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS THEY PREFER. * * * * WARNING!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS VET HOSPITAL * * THEY DON'T EVEN RATE A SINGLE STAR.

This Doctor who I enjoyed taking my pets too discriminated against me today because of a past place of employment. I took a job somewhere like most of us needing a job . as soon as I realized this job was not taking care of their animals I quit. I have since two years later not been affiliated with that place I worked at for a small three months. Doctor Pat took care of my pets for a long time and apparently took care of my past employers pups. I had a sick cat today who was at Normandy for 11 hrs today only during our med discussion and looking over my chart he says he can't help me and walks out. I asked for an explanation and I'm hurt. I'm a mother and animal lover and was clearly discriminated on today and I'm hurt how someone's actions effects me today. He left my cat in pain without antibiotics. How can I know what a past employer does. I'm a mom and pet owner who now owns my own pet salon. He has been treating my pets for the last two years before noticing today going over my chart together that he wrote a small note that I used to work for so and such. How does that matter! I can't believe how I was treated today! I always recommended my salon customers , family, and friends to Normandy Animal Hospital UNTIL today. Discrimination sucks and it was a very embarrassing moment this vet place me in today.

Could not diagnose my cat who turned out to be FeLV positive even when he was extremely symptomatic. I had to ask that he do blood work which didn't include an FeLV test nor was one suggested. We were given meds that were basically useless and told to come back in a week. Although my cat was dehydrated at the initial exam no IV fluids were offered or suggested. After a week of steady decline and a 2 1/2 hour wait to see the dr we were told he couldn't do anything more, he didn't have time to administer IV fluids that I had to ask for, and we should just go to the emergency vet clinic, yes this happened on a Saturday. All this for around $200. My cat died because I spent a week trusting Patrick Wrights opinion. My advice, go somewhere else that's clean, which his facility isn't, where the actual Vet will do the work not an assistant like at his shop, they give all the vaccinations and even diagnose things like ear infections( I saw this happen), go somewhere that you get to stay with your pet during treatment. I can't say enough to keep anyone who values their animals life to go somewhere else! Don't let your pet die because of his either lack of knowledge or worse lack of caring. His service may be cheaper than others but he deals in volume not quality. Remember, although my cat was FeLV positive he didn't have to die, there is a treatment available but Pat Wright didn't know about it because all he will do is shoot your sick pet up with a cheap antibiotic and hope for the best. DON'T LET YOUR PET DIE! Get a real diagnosis from a real Vet!
