Had been patients of SMAH for three years, and was concerned about my cat and called to make an apt with SMAH this week. Tabitha said that since we hadn't brought her in earlier in the day we couldn't have an appointment in the afternoon and just told us to go the emergency vet. Took her back to our old vet and only 50 bucks later everything was fine. So glad we are not taking our pets to SMAH. I heard them tell a guy he couldn't buy any of their cat food unless he made an appointment, either. What a horrible place!

We took our sick bird there on a Sunday, when most other animal hospitals were close and the service and treatment was excellent. After some analysis and some medication our monk parakeet was back to her old self the very next morning. This staff was absolutely incredible and very caring. My wife was so glad to have our long time companion back. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

A; Its Clean inside B: They are open past 5 PM which most of us work a job that is 9-5 and they start early. 7am-6pm C: Found an umbilical hernia which another vet completely missed on my puppy. D: Willing to explain things to me more than once E: Professional attitude I am about to take my pup there for the third time for some more care but I always leave feeling I have done the right thing for him.

Wonderful care in any situation. When I called with an emergency, they were willing to take my cat even on a Sunday and close to closing time. The staff stayed after with my cat and I, they took the best care of him possible. Even though we had to put my cat down, they took time and made him comfortable. I was grateful for the way they treated him. He was held and comforted by the staff until the end when it was my job.

the staff are very friendly. Dr Sri is SUPER nice and she knows what she is talking about. She is THOROUGH, to make sure she is propperly diagnosing your pet. She will explain everything to you before she does anything, to make sure you are comfortable with her treatments. What impressed me the most is that even if it is a simple vaccine, the staff call you the day after the appointment to make sure your pet is doing well, and they sound like they genuinely care over the phone, not like they're bored. San Marco Animal Hospital is now the primary vet for my 3 cats. :)
