We had tried three other vets in Port Saint Lucie before we found, and will keep, Dr. Bonnie Mitchell. She and her vet husband own Coastal Animal Hospital. We found her knowledgeable, caring and showing concern for our dog who was in the process of loosing a toenail. They got us in right away, even though we were new to her practice. She told us our options and let us decide which we would do. She explained what it might be and also suggested blood work, if we wanted. When Coconut continue to lose nails, Dr. Bonnie Mitchell went ahead, with our approval, to have medicines made up for Coconut's size to see if we could cure the problem creating the toenails to die. We think very highly of Dr. Mitchell and she is now our vet permanently. A big plus is our little Coconut likes her. He hated the other three. He has good taste in vets.
