I have taken my two long hair chihuahua from N.Y to Allendale Animal Health Center because from the front desk clerk to the assistance and Doctor are all amazing with my two babies. All employees have love for all the animals that visits them. They all have smiles and treat all owners and animals with respect. Love this clinic for my two babies.

If you like spending money, then by all means come here. Brought my male cat in to be checked for a bladder infection and they wanted to charge me $917.00. Thankfully, I was able to get out with just a checkup and the antibiotic Veraflox. You can get Veraflox for $22, and they charge $80. It's my fault for not calling around, but I was worried about my cat, and I know for a male that having a bladder infection is very dangerous for them. Lesson learned.

The staff (entire) is top notch. the place is super clean,my yorkie LOLA was sick with open pyometra she was spayed infection gone and no more problems,her recovery was really fast.If your pet ever needs emergency care, this is the place to go. prices are reasonable, everyone from the receptionist to the vet Highly professional and caring staff .Compassionate people specially Hector, great care. The good: I always come in with my babies and they take wonderful care of them. Always clean inside and out. The vet tech is so kind, it makes even the most difficult visits (sick dog) a pleasant one due to his demeanor. The bad: Wait time is always an hour or more after your appointment time, even when your the only person sitting there!! Prices are a bit high for medications.

I tried to get an appointment for my cat, who the receptionist said may have a bladder infection, but couldn't get him in for another 2 days. Upon further research that evening, and speaking to an ER vet, I found out that when a male cat has a bladder infection it needs to be treated immediately, as it can quickly turn serious and possibly fatal. I was shocked that the receptionist had no sense of urgency at all about getting him seen sooner, and didn't inform me that I may want to take him someplace else where he could be seen sooner. Fortunately I did my own research. Needless to say, I'm NOT bringing my cats to this place.
