I found this vet on Google and after reading good reviews I decided to try her. I'm not one to write a bad review but I feel like I had no choice in this situation. The staff was very nice but the Doctor's bed side manners were horrible. She gave my dog vaccines (OVERPRICED$$$) and prescribed an antibiotic that I knew was FREE at Publix. Instead of giving me a scribed for it she wanted to charge me almost 50$ to purchase it from her. Her assistant told me the Doctor could write me a script if that was what I preferred, so she did. I could hear her complaining about writing the script on the other side of the door, which I thought was very rude! After getting home and going over my receipt I realized they charged me a 3.00$ "Prescription fee" for the antibiotics that was written on a normal piece of paper!!! I have had many animals and I have NEVER been charged a script FEE!! 3$ is not much but it's the principle ... I tried making a follow up appointment and thought I would give her office another chance but she doesn't take appointments until later in the morning and she leaves early in the afternoon.10am-3pm is a very small window, especially for people that work a 9-5 job. I feel her prices are unfair and her attitude needs to change if she wants to keep clients happy.

We have been going to Lake Park Animal for many years and would not go anywhere else. Dr. Scorteanu is the most down to earth, caring and knowledgeable person. They have dealt with many challenges during the years with our four legged family members that we dearly love and always made every effort to accommodate us at every turn. As our furry friends have aged we have had to make that most incredibly hard sorrowful decision and Dr. Scorteanu was right there and so compassionate as if they were her own loved one. The prices are more than reasonable and they go the extra mile to let you know ahead of time the cost. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone and have done so on many occasions. Lake Park Animal Medical Clinic staff is WONDERFUL!! Thank you Soo much for caring for our pets. My husband and I are extremley grateful to have such a trustworthy, honest, friendly, caring and knowledgeable Vet! We Love our pets like family and we feel Dr.Scorteanu and her staff love them just as much. Every time we take our pets to Dr. Scorteanu's clinic everyone treats us with great respect.The staff always goes above and beyond. This is the 3rd vet I have gone to sine moving to Palm Beach over a her ago. She took her time with my pug and explained everything that I would need to do but also had her team tell me what everything was going to cost giving me a chance to make a decision before just giving me all these prescriptions. She also knew the neurologist personally she referred me too. I am very impressed with her and finally feel good about my pet not just being a number but actually a part of my family that is being treated with care and respect.

Dr. Scorteanu has been amazing for both of our french bulldogs. We have our "special needs" dog Gia who had problems with seizures and skin irritations since we adopted her from the rescue network and Dr. Scorteanu has gotten everything under control. Her diagnosis and prescribed treatment has been perfect. Our favorite thing about Dr. Scorteanu (and her staff) is how they truly care about your pets - playing with them on the ground, giving them hugs and kisses, etc. It really makes you feel comfortable that they are working in the best interest of your dog. And after everything is done at the office, they follow up the next day with a phone call to check on your pet. We feel very lucky they are in our area and recommend them to ANYONE.
