We lost Princess (kitty) late Friday night. I didn't like the idea of sending her to Tampa or further away for the cremation. There is no way to know if the ashes you receive are truly from your loved one when the whole process is so far away. Larry (the owner) took care of Princess this morning. Larry is a genuinely caring person who makes you at ease with the process. The business is very clean, very quiet and I highly recommend this service. You can watch the process from beginning to end if you wish. As mentioned in other reviews, you get a lock of fur and a paw print as a remembrance. The small box has a customized name plate attached. Lasting Paws is also much less expensive than other businesses. Wonderful service from a caring business. Highly recommend.

My Beloved Dog died a few days ago and the vet told us Lasting Paws is where she would go. As many people there are something's I forgot to ask for but I was shocked when I got her back. She is in a beautiful wood box urn with her name and dates on it along with a lock of her fur and a certificate with her paw print on it. I did not meet the people in person but for them to do all that for our beloved pet shows they are very compassionate and caring people. Our home in a way feels complete again. Highly recommended!

The people at Lasting Paws are very compassionate. I am a man that lost my dog. My dog “Rocco” was my best friend. My eyes were tearing up when at Lasting Paws, I was trying not to cry. The guys there were very professional and compassionate. They made me feel very comfortable and were understanding. When I picked Rocco up they had created a certificate with his paw print and a hair clipping. I am glad and grateful that they did that! Thank you Lasting Paws!

We really didn't know what to expect when the wonderful staff at Fort Meade Animal Clinic sent our Bandit to Lasting Paws. When we went to pic him up, and I was simply amazed. He is now in a beautiful cedar box, with his favorite toys. Because we were overcome with grief, we didn't think of asking for some things, which I am so grateful they took the liberty to provide. They clipped a piece of his fur, wrapped it in a bow and sealed it in a bag. They also put his paw print on his death certificate. Bandit was part of my life for 15 years. Thanks to Lasting Paws, we not only have great memories of a much loved dog, we have Bandit's remains in a way that is not morbid, but beautiful. Thank you.
