Avoid this place like the plague; there are too many affordable and respectful places in the area to take your pet to these people. Ultimately, I paid this place $300 to get nothing accomplished with my dog's injury, be given a bunch of false information, and make my daughter cry. The doctor and staff said my dog needed a surgery costing thousands of dollars that they were unable to do. When we said we would like to explore our options and/or get another estimate, they offered that we could conveniently "surrender" our (pure-breed) dog and they would take care of the surgery they had just said they couldn't do. Shocked that they would think we would just give up our dog on the spot with no real estimate or information about the surgery, we also declined this option. They proceeded to threaten us saying that we needed to agree to the surgery on the spot, surrender our dog, or they would call the ASPCA on us. Their tone and threats made my five year old daughter cry, thinking we were going to lose our dog, and also really confused me. Why would this place pay "thousands" for surgery on a random dog; why would they insist we surrender a dog to them and not to the ASPCA; why would they not understand that this wasn't a decision that could be made on the spot? We brought an ugly stray with a tumor here before and they said it would probably die in a few months, but couldn't have cared less whether we got a surgery for it or not (luckily we found the owners). Needless to say, we left this terrible place and got multiple other estimates. Other vets and the emergency hospital who did take care of our dog agreed that this Vet's office acted very strange and unprofessional. They also said that the diagnosis given was mostly wrong; we were told this was the worse-case scenario and it was the opposite of that. They also said the medicine prescribed didn't work well for the issue our dog was having. Star far, far away from this shady place; they only made our problems worse.

Having just recently moving here from another state for my job, I just wanted to let everyone know that Largo Vet & Dr. Daniels are the best. You can tell she truly loves your pets, all of them. My poor dog has an eye issue and we were not sure what caused it. But Dr. Daniels worked and worked with my Gizmo and now his eye is getter better. Which is far better than him losing the eye. You need to come here you will not regret it :) The staff is also very helpful and you can tell the whole office just enjoy taking care of your Furry Loved Ones :) Thank you Largo Vet for all your help. I move to FL about 3 yrs ago and was very nervous about taking my cats, that I moved with me, to a vet. They were all seniors and were never happy at the vet. My first visit experience was with Dr. Daniels and I was amazed me on how well Buddie the worst of the three cats responded to her. Dr. Daniels didn't just inspect Buddie like most vets do - she tried getting to know her. Last year Picacu had a blood clot. All the staff at Largo Veterinary Hospital took great care in watching her. Dr. Daniels prescribed some medicine to help her. Because of Dr. Daniels and her staff I was able to enjoy another full year with my 18 yr old cat which is a priceless gift. Chase dog is my 13 yr old Lab/Dob mix and weighted about 135 lbs. As an older big dog this weight was making it hard for Chase to walk and play like he should. Dr. Daniels suggested we try replacing his 2 cups of food twice a day to 1 cup of food and a can of green beans twice a day. 6 months later Chase weighted in at 98 lbs is full of energy and runs up and down the stairs he once struggled with. The best part is Chase lets you know he wants his green beans. I absolutely love everyone at Largo Veterinary Hospital. I have a vet down the street from my home but will drive further for the great service Largo Veterinary Hospital offers me and my furry babies.

Our pets have been customers here for about 3 years. Always prompt, excellent service, clear information on costs and quality recommendations without being pushy on "extras". I would highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital to anyone.

I have been with Largo Veterinary Hospital for several years with my dog Joscar, He is an older dog and I've always been very happy with the care he's received. Joscar has vet anxiety but as soon as Dr. Daniels walks in he always warms right up to her. She is a huge lover of Dachshunds and she always makes us feel so warm and welcome. We recently have added Jenga an Australian Shephard puppy to our household. Every time we go to the Vet with her we get Dr. Lutz who is amazing and she just loves. She shows no vet anxiety and I think it must be because we have always gone to Largo Veterinary Hospital and have ALWAYS had a fantastic experience. I've been very pleased with the staff, both the doctors are just wonderful. I never feel rushed, or have to wait a for long periods of time. The Vet Techs, especially Debbie and Tanya always do a great job, they are both extremely knowledgeable and take time to answer any questions I have. The front office staff is very kind and always have chocolate candy to snack on while you pay your bill. Every time I call for a question it is always answered and I have always been squeezed in if something is wrong with one of my dogs. Take your animals here, I know you will be happy with the service you receive:)
