Pongo and I love Loving Care Animal Hospital! He is generally shy of people that he doesn't know, but every time we are in for an exam the staff, vet techs and Dr. Richard do everything possible to make him comfortable. We love them so much that we make the drive from St. Petersburg to Largo whenever we need a check up! It makes me feel better knowing that we take our dog somewhere that we trust completely. Highly Recommend!

I met Dr. Richard 5 yrs ago this week. My 12 yr old cocker was having a problem with his foot. After a hearty laugh about our last name ( my last name is Dinon - no relation at all) he kept Nesbitt for testing --- sadly the tests came back with bad news - he had cancer. We went straight to work amputating his toe and getting him treatment. Dr. Richard and his staff gave me unconditional support as I worried him through his healing process. I got 3 more years with old Nesbitt - he passed away in August of 2013. I doubt that would have happened if we had not met Dr. Richard that January morning. Today I brought my new little girl to meet him as her new Vet - the highest review of trust in my book. Thank you Dr. Richard and Loving Care Animal Hospital for all of your great care and love of animals.

I HIGHLY recommend Loving Care Animal Hospital. They are a wonderful veterinarian located in Largo, Florida. The owner (Dr. Dinon) is a fantastic veterinarian and is my go to resource for anything related to pet care for my little guys. You guys rock! Thanks for all you do.

Dr. Richard believes his patient's should never forget there's a whole wide world of adventure out there and he makes sure it happens. Beamer, our black lab was one of his buddies. He left us but he left his own indelible mark on Dr. Richard and also his staff. 5 stars to all...... Thank you!

I'm very surprised by the few negative reviews for this clinic. I've taken our pets to Loving Care when it was initially Dr. Jim, then Dr. Paul & now Dr. Richard. Often you might expect a transition to change the level of care but that has not been my experience. The staff is knowledgeable, patient and respectful. Dr. Richard is a very caring veterinarian who takes the time to explain everything involving the treatment of our pets. The environment is clean and Dr. Richard has made needed improvements to the building and the parking area.
