About 4 years ago I bought a female baby Chinchilla at the PetSmart for my son. She was very friendly, funny and nice. I made an appointment in this Rainforest Clinic on Dec. 30, 2014 because my chinchilla needed a minor procedure for teeth trimming. Dr. Clubb asked me to drop her off there and pick her up after 1 hour. After 1 hour when I came back they told me that the procedure was as planned. However when I opened a door close to the procedure's room, I saw my chinchilla dead on the floor and one big dog biting her. She was attacked by the dog(s) after the surgery. Immediately I shouted for help, but unfortunately Dr. Clubb could no longer resuscitate here. It was negligence and careless because inside the Clinic they keep and permit many dogs walking freely. They didn't have any care with my pet after the surgery. All my family, especially my son is mourning at the end of this year 2014.

Dr. Susan Clubb is by far the best Avian Vet in Florida, she is absolutely AMAING! Her Clinic and Aviary, are spotlessly clean, her staff are kind and helpful. I Own and Manage a Parrot Rescue in Homestead, Fl. I have known Susan for five yrs. She is fair in her pricing, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, SHE is there when you really need her! I took a Mullucan Cockatoo to her two weeks ago ( it's 208 miles round rip from my house) to her clinic. This poor Parrot had a clean break in his left leg, and we had already been to S. Miami to an Avian Vet the night before, all they did was give pain meds and said come back in the morning, so 7;30 am next morning, back again, pain meds and antibiotics said come back Monday! I got home called Susan, she said, can you come now? Of course I put the bid I my car and went strait there, she set his leg in a cast, put a collar on him, and kept him till Tuesday so she could re-cast him after the swelling went down. I met her at Jungle Island on Tues. and picked him up, she works there every Tuesday also. The payment was minimal, compared to other Avian Vets who charge thousands for the same thing. IF YOU LOVE your Parrot or any other Pet you own in Florida, SHEIS THE VET to go to! Worth every mile!!
