We recently moved to Jacksonville. I had to look up their phone number because I need them to call in a prescription dog food for me. Thought I'd leave a review while I was at it... We love this vet! They are a lot cheaper than the "posh" vets in the area. The ladies up front are always nice on the phone and in person. Last time we went in, our dog was bleeding from the bum area. They immediately got us in. I am completely animal stupid, so when the vet said she had a gland open up, I had a lot of questions. Every question I had he answered, plus he showed me and my kids an anatomical picture to help us better understand. He also went over how to prevent similar future problems. Oh and they also match prices on flea, tick, and heart worm meds. Sad to be leaving our little gem vet office in Margate.

My wife and I took my stepsons 12 yr old lab/shep mix to Margate Animal Hospital I called and they said that they could fit her in ( new patient) $40 a visit. Nala has been vomiting for a full 24 hours but did eat yesterday and now she wont eat and can not stand on her own longer than 600 ft. We carry her in explain and they ask if I use some heart worm stuff etc.. When last shots were ( we took her to our home when my Wife's ex moved out of the county) so we get in to the room the vet comes in listens to her heart says she is dehydrated ( DUH) walks out his vet tech walks back in with a "$1300 ESTIMATE" no explanation or direction they were thinking ( I had explained she had ticks recently and Frontline) Oh yeah she offered a VET CREDIT CARD APPLICATION.............. We paid the $40 and left. The girls were really nice at the front. It was obvious how old she was and he did not even talk to us about our concerns or anything. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE VET I would be ashamed !

Dr. Braun is the best vet and the staff is awesome. They are very caring, gentle to all pets, professional and you are not just a number. He is the only vet I have ever come across that decides what is best for the pet and not his wallet. I have been going to this animal hospital for over five years and highly recommend it.
