I love Collins Animal Hospital! We have taken our pets there for several years and I love the friendly manner of all of the staff and Dr. Hank is the BEST. He is friendly, no nonsense, and has a beautiful way with animals. You can tell by his demeanor that he loves animals and wants for their best and most productive life. Earlier this year, we had to make the decision to put down our older dog and the staff was so supportive and made us feel as comfortable as possible about the decision.

I have used Doctor Bonger's for over 10 years. He was compassionate when my 11 year old dog died and I feel he did his best to save him. I took my new puppy of 1 year to him and I still love his manner and heart. However, his wife is now running the front office and she is not so compassionate. I had a problem with my credit card and needed to get it straightened out and told her I would have to come back. She said her policy was that payment had to be made before I left the office. I have given that office thousands of dollars in business and never a problem paying. I felt totally embarrassed and humiliated by her attitude. I finally just had to walk out without paying and went home and told my husband what happened. He immediately went there and gave her the $150.00 in cash. I went in to get flea meds for my dog and cat and she told me that my account was closed and I was not welcome anymore! Thee are many Vets in the area just as good and I will find a new one. However, I am still sorry that it has come to this. Obviously Dr. Bongers has no say in how she runs the office. Too Bad.

I completely trust both my dogs' care to Dr. Bongers. He always comes up with the best plan for your animals and he is respectful of your budget as well. My dog needed surgery on both his ears a couple years apart. Our first vet in Suntree charged us for multiple visits before finally doing a procedure that was messy and caused his ear to shrivel. Dr. Bongers made sure that we only paid for one office visit and did a different procedure that was much more effective and restored the ear entirely. Later when our dog needed maintenance shots Dr. Bonger made his assistant available in the mornings that we wanted to come in so that we only had to pay for the actual medicine. He is incredible and I would recommend his practice to anyone.

The best vet I have ever been to. I have been to vets all over this country and hands down Collins animal hospital is the best. Dr. Bongers is knowledgeable, respectful, and honest. The staff is courteous and caring. They never judge, always make you and your pet comfortable, and are fair and extremely reasonable on their services and pricing. If you are new to the area or not pleased with your current vet, give them a try and your pet will thank you.

hands down the best vet in bevard. A kindred spirit for your animal. I like to think of him as the Cesar Milan of Internal Medicine. While I lost my dog to the devastation of Parvo, Dr. Bongers made a valiant attempt to save my beautiful pups life, even taking her home with him for her final evening. Words can not express the respect I have!! Above and Beyond even when faced with a disease that is more often than not a losing battle. You should not hesitate to trust this man.
