We have two Maltese dogs that have been going to Banfield at this location for quite a while. We've always had a great experience. It's easy to get there from South Beach where we live, and parking is always available. Even if you don't have an appointment, if you call you can usually bring your pet in at certain hours to see if there is an opening. We have done this several times and always been able to find an opening, even if there might be a bit of a wait. The oldest Maltese recently had a litter of 4 pups, so all their care was done at Banfield too from the time they were born. We find both the front desk staff and the veterinarians to be very knowledgeable, patient-focused, and friendly. And of course it helps to be inside the pet store so we can shop for our spoiled dogs on the way out! I've had many pets over many years and gone to many different veterinarians, and I am a physician myself. I highly recommend them.

The emergency attention is completely awful. You could have your pet dying in front of them and they tell you that they have a lot of other patients… completely healthy! Besides, you couldn't have the same vet. They're always moving to other locations.

The vet over there almost killed my dog by giving him an infection after doing his neutering surgery

Even with an appointment there seems to be a long wait and inattentive staff.
