These vets Dr. Gomara and Dr. Cruz at the Bird Road office are awesome!. They are not only knowledgeable, but they are so very compassionate, something that a lot of there seem to be missing. Their prices are affordable and they work with you. I have taken to them my own pets along with strays and rescues and they are compassionate with all. They are truly a blessing to our community. the staff is also wonderful, this a group that truly cares about animals!

Dr. Gomara is an awesome vet. He really cares about animals and it shows. His clinic is affordable, the staff is nice and the service is wonderful. Dr. Gomara has vast knowledge and is not looking to make a quick buck. He provides excellent service and because of that has many loyal customers. I recommend him, he is a great vet!

I just got my dog from a friend of a friend who just couldn't take him. We found out he originally came from a puppy mill and as a puppy of course, had kennel cough, diarrhea and even heartworm. Don't buy from pet stores boys and girls. Dr. Gomara was referred to me by a neighbor as I walked my dog. I've read about all the other places in Miami from Brickell to Silver Bluff and more. I really think you ought to give this place a chance. Anyways, we called on a Saturday at 9 AM cause we had to take our dog with nothing but basic information and shot records to being looked over. The place was packed and we were told we should have gotten an appointment. They told us if we didn't mind we could wait. By 10:30 AM we had left, and not because we had been rushed. We didn't see Dr. Gomara for this initial visit, we saw one of the sweetest vets I've met. She read over the records and poured over stuff from when he was a puppy. She noticed some vaccines were out of date for months and he needed to take some meds. She did a great job of informing us and helping us transition him to our new home. The clinic is relatively small, the surrounding staff is not always the nicest, but the actual vets are amazing. All his shots, two different medicines for 6 months and his rabies tag ran us about $230. Nothing was pushed on me and everything was necessary. It was a really fair price. I feel like considering how one was a three year shot and all the circumstances I have a lot of peace of mind. I asked a ton of basic questions but they were all answered patiently. The marketing strategy (lack of website) kills me it's basically all through word of mouth. Overall they seem very good, this was the first time I've been here, it was earlier today. I'm really happy with the service and would go back again. I think it's 4 stars for lack of website and because of the service staff being a bit cold. That being said, the results are really good, and it's worth checking them out. I believe they also have a second clinic in the northwest area of town. Give 'em a call!
