Dr Lakret, Sherry and the whole staff are wonderful. Rating a vet's office doesn't mean much unless you've had problems with your animal. Let me tell you, our two dogs have had serious problems, all of which Dr Lakret and his staff handled with the absolute best of care. From teeth cleaning to partial paralysis, we've untrusted Dr. Lakret with the lives of our fur babies, a task which they never take lightly. Expect honest dealings, genuine care and frank talk.

I came there for my new kitten's first vet appointment and I was so impressed with the staff and doctors. I grew up with animals all my life and have visited many veterinarians and this was my most pleasant experience. Very reasonably priced, knowledgable staff and they don't try and convince you to pay for things your pet doesn't need. They have become my go-to vet for all my animals.

I had a problem with my pet and they gave me literature to read from their medical books. Not purely profit driven, but I am sure their down to earth style and willingness to share knowledge keeps clients absolutely loyal to them. I wouldn't think twice about visiting even for the silliest thing. They also have a boarding house inside.

At the time I had a six month old Jack Russell "Lilly" I thought it would be a good idea to have her spayed and the time was now...I was and continue to be ridiculously attached to her....so much so that I was just going to plow it off and not spay her spay here at all and take my chances. I went back and forth for days trying to decide what do to…...and time was running out. I could find a Vet anyway so my decision was being made for me - No Operation! Then a friend a major dog lover recommended Dr. Horvath. I took myself down to the clinic met with Dr Horvath he made me feel extremely comfortable he took 30 minutes without an appointment to explain the procedure and try to assure me "Lilly" would be fine. She was operated on the very next morning. When I went to pick her up, she had the saddest eyes and could barely hold her head up …when she saw me she collapsed in my arms. Dr. Horvath assured me that everything perfectly, and she would be just fine and back to old self in 48 hours. (I actually think he was more concerned about me.) Without asking, he gave me his home number and cell numbers and told me to call at any time. She recovered quickly, and is not only not scared to return to the clinic she is excited to go to the clinic. Oh, by the way the nurses and staff are also great, genuine and equally caring. As I was thanking everyone Dr. Horvath handed me a bag of beefsteak tomatoes…..They are the very best!
