I highly recommend a Miami Pet Emergency truly are one in a million.Very professional! We had a great experience. Dr took the time to fully and carefully examine our dog and staff are super friendly, professional and display a caring attitude. Miami Pet Emergency was recommended by our regular vet . We were very pleased with honesty and hospitality. We would definitely refer to emergency clinic and will go back to see if needed. "Kevin" says thanks to all of their hard work, love and dedication. It's worth every penny! EXCELLENT client service!! I don't know if everyone who comes here gets this lucky, but your BEST chances of your pet recovering are here. I definitely recommend that you bring your pet to this place was great. They were very informative and friendly! I can not explain how grateful I'm! I was searching on Google for a Pet Emergency, My dog bit a toad and by the time we got there he was stiff and unresponsive. It was a horrible experience. Dr. and staff dropped everything they were doing and spent hours attending to my dog and going above and beyond to save him. Each staff member genuinely cared about my dog and would not give up on him. After a few hours of relentless work they were able to stabilize him against all odds. They were extremely knowledgeable and caring during the whole ordeal. Thank you Miami Pet Emergency I really appropriate your efforts During visit, the staff at Dr office went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable in the waiting room. Dr explained to me very clearly what my dog might have and my option of treatments everything they did and all medication provided was exactly what he needed and that it was miraculous that they were able to save my dog considering how bad he had been poisoned. Now that my baby is all better and healthy. I'm really happy that I did choose "Miami Pet Emergency" blessings to of employees and staff for the excellent care provided to my dog. I will not take my dog anywhere else and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a REASONABLY PRICED EMERGENCY!!! place that truly cares about your pet! staff are truly awesome!! I feel they sincerely care about my dog, and not about how much they can charge for visit. That's rare!

These people have clearly forgotten their veterinarian oath ! Whatever happened to the protection of animal health, welfare and RELIEF OF ANIMAL SUFFERING among others....??? I know you are running a business and not a charitable organization but to REFUSE to take care of an animal that was clearly in pain, suffering and dying until you had cash in your hands was despicable, and to send a distressed pet guardian to go cash her paycheck first and come back with the money then we will see your pet was even more disgusting. Shame on this place, their uncaring staff and doctors!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS, THEIR PRIMARY CONCERN IS MONEY !!!!

I read the other reviews previous to mine. Frankly, some of them made me go back and check the name and address, just to make sure it was the same place I'd gone to. I went to them last Tuesday with a poor stray cat that appeared slumped in my driveway. The poor thing was alert, but obviously ill and extremely weak. Upon entering and explaining the situation, I was asked if I was there to surrender the cat or seek treatment for it. So right off I was informed that they offered choices. I told the two techs I was working with that I wanted to at least give the animal a chance to survive, so I opted for a consult. I was then given a form to fill out, and informed that a check-up would cost $118. I believe the intent was to let me know up front what it would cost, because after I told them to go ahead, payment wasn't mentioned again until the end of my visit. I had a short wait, which I thought to be reasonable, as I could hear a dog being treated in another room. When the vet came, I found him to be friendly, courteous and professional. He thoroughly checked the cat out and gave me a preliminary diagnosis (acute liver problem, possibly poisoning). He then discussed treatment options, cost and prognosis. I never felt I was being manipulated towards spending a lot of money in treatment, quite the opposite. In so many words, the vet let me know that the cat's chances weren't good, and a lot of expense would be involved and probably wasted. So I opted for having the cat put to sleep. Only after this, and my visit being almost over, was payment for the visit brought up. I was favorably impressed by the professionalism, but much more so by the humane and human attitude of the vet and techs. They cared for the animal, and I wasn't treated as a patsy to be squeezed for as much money as could be gotten from me. Was it expensive? Yes, but considering it's a 24 hr. emergency center, the charges were reasonable. Would I return? Yes. Would I recommend them? Definitely!

My experience with Miami Pet Emergency (MPE) was horrible. I HAD a 6 week old Presa Canario/American Bulldog Puppy. He seem constipated, he had not defecated the whole day. We went out that day and came back that afternoon to find him lying somewhat lifeless. We rushed him to the nearest vet that would be open on a Sunday night, "MPE". They charged me $118 to see him or as they say "for a physical", I said no problem, poor dog is hurt we have to figure out what we can do for him. After waiting about 30min, they tell me, "doctors are doing there shift change, they will be out soon", they said. I hear laughter in the background while I wait. Finally a female "Doctor" comes out. I guess they heard me asking for the doctor, mind you I already paid the $118. Within 1 min maybe 2, she touches the dog's stomach, weighs him and tells us "he seems lethargic". Tell me something I don't know!!!! That's why he is here!!! She tells us, they need to take some X-rays and the puppy needs to stay over night, 360 bucks. My reaction is "WOW", for 118 dollars I get a "Doctor" to tell me my dog is not right, "he is lethargic", she said. For 400 more dollars we will tell you what to do. The Dog died that night. We took him home because we cant afford to pay the fees. My question to the MPE is, why not a little advice for that $118? Is a life that we are talking about here. I am in the US Military. I have been in since 1999. I have "fought" in all the campaigns up to this point. When I am overseas, I think about how good we have it here, in the "USA". How good people sleep at night, without a care in the world. How companies like this one are free, free because of Men and women like me have given there lives so they can have the "freedom". The Freedom to rob the poor at whatever cost. I guess I could be overreacting a little. Some might say, "its just a dog, he is crazy". I am pretty sure, because of the love for animals, "MPE" was created. To me this is another example of how selfish this country has become. Money is the only motivator. Pay or Die! How much do you value your LIFE? Pay up if you want to live. Because of this state of mind companies like this one will continue monopolizing our country. God Bless you MPE and all other companies that strive on the weak and cornered!! F^$K You Slowly!!! Did not want to give a Star. I had too, to publish.
