WORST PLACE EVER! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!! my dog was very ill so I took him to river run, they told me to come pick him up at 5:30. well when I got there no one had a clue of how my dog was doing; I asked to see him and they took me to a back room which was FILTHY! my poor dog was in a cage and dirty and no one had bother to check up on him in the his time being there. Dr.Mccolman then came and told me "he has less than a 50% chance of survival so i would just give up" I was baffled by what Dr.Mccolman was telling me. Dr.Mccolman then told me my dog had been on IV all day to keep him hydrated, afterwards, He told me my dog had kidney and liver failure. I got my dog and rushed him to another hospital which they then later on told me he had no kidney nor liver failure. And no IV had been put on him because he was severally dehydrated. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when I went in to take my cat they told me leave her over night because they heard somthing weird from her heart. I trusted them because my cat was my baby and I didnt want anything to happen to her. They then called me the next morning to pick her up and she had a broken leg!! I did not bring her in with a broken leg so how in the hell did she get one???!! this is the worst place ever, they honestly be shut down; please do not take any of your pets here!

Dr. Mccolman and his staff have been seeing to our animals for many years. He started seeing them before he took over River Run. Our household has always at least three cats, usually four, spoiled rotten animals. One is a Ragdoll with special needs for immunizations that not all vets pay attention too. And his care of them helps keep them healthy and happy. Our dog, a new addition doesn't freak out when going to his office. That' s a plus in Doc's column.
