I have been going there since Dr. Goldstein took the practice over. The place was a mess and Spencer was a young vet. I had just moved to Miami and had reservations. But from day one, Spencer Goldstien has always spent more than enough time with me (and since all of my friends) and educates me about every aspect of all of my pets conditions. Dr. Buster came out of the same mold. I cant say enough about this practice. They are everything you want for the care of your little love ones. I have read the other reviews. I realize no one is perfect. The Veterinarian practice is a rough business. Large animal practices have someone's livelihood in their hands while small animal practices have your heart in their hands. It is the most difficult medical school to get into and vets are the lowest paid medical professionals. That said, I have been going there with three dogs and four cats from the beginning. I stand by my review.

Dr. Goldstein has been my dog's vet since I got him 3 years ago. The front desk people are always helpful and they are very nice to us. I will be very honest. I like Dr. Goldstein more since I connected with him instantly. I seen Dr. Buster only twice and that was because the time I needed Dr. Goldstein wasn't available. However, they both do a good job. They don't force anything on you. My dog ate poison and I cried like a baby. They didn't know exactly what it was so they brought me to the back, we looked the ingredients for it on the computer and they were very concerned about my shih tzu. I mean I was there for longer than an hour with them taking blood work and giving my dog shots. It was scary but they assured me everything will be fine. It was! I liked how they went over the prices with me and everything was in my hands to decide for my dog. I never asked for financing only because I always ask the front desk how much will it be before I go there, and they always give me an estimate, so I just bring in more money. For me, shelling out $150-200 every visit is expensive but for the care of my dog and how he is doing well, I really do not mind. At least I know my dog is good for 6months. I am planning to adopt a puppy and although there's places that give shots for less, I would rather make sure my puppy & dog get the best and get treated with love and care. I would recommend them 100%.

I moved to Miami about 4 years ago and was looking for a good vet for my two dogs. I went to Biscayne Animal Hosp. after a neighbor recommended it. I was very pleased with the prompt attention, clean lobby and rooms (No smells!) and the obvious dedication of Dr's Busta and Goldstein. The office staff was very pleasant also. I had several opportunities to test their patience (Called 5:30 a.m. one morning hysterical after my dog was attacked on a walk). They always respond very quickly and calmly. I think every penny I spend on the care for my pets are worth it at BAH. They're family! P.S. Pretty Bird is a nice distraction while you wait in the lobby for your appointment.

This place is simply the best. Ask around and you will hear this from local pet owners as well. I have been a client for three years and have two small dogs I bring there. Dr. Buster and Goldstein are top knotch doctors and office staff plus vet techs are all very friendly and helpful. Prices are about the same as most places in Miami. Their frontline flea prevention med is a little more costly than most places and not sold in single packs but not a huge deal. You 100% want to have an appointment and be on time. They are very busy but if you are on time or a little early there is a small chance you will have to wait to be seen. If you are one minute late you may have to wait, kind of sucks but everyone should be on time for appointments anyway right? I see both doctors. dr. Goldstein goes out of his way to explain things in depth, dr. buster is beyond kind to the animals she sees and she speaks spanish which is a plus since some of my friends who speak little english go there. if you are on a budget you can always ask for an estimate before anything is done aside from the office visit to be seen, just ask up front. dont hesitate to bring your pet there. you have nothing to lose and a great vet hospital to gain, if you are not happy go elsewhere but you will be thrilled. also the place is very clean and never smells like " pet odors"

My family is devastated. We lost our beloved dog Lala last Friday. I should have followed my gut feeling but I did not. I never liked this place specially Dr. Bustter. We moved from Houston over a year ago, a friend recommended us to Dr. Goldstein, but I never saw him. They decided to assign us to Dr. Bustter in the practice. Lala had a wonderful doctor someone that cares, someone that LOVES and shows COMPASSION. Lala was in great shape for her age, (12 years old) even Dr. Bustter told me so last time I saw her. These were her exact words "Don't worry Mrs. Lopez, your dog is in her middle age, she'll live much longer" She suffered from urinary infections, last Wednesday she was feeling down, we took her to the vet, my husband explained the situation and gave instructions to do a full check up. She was there for 5 hours.... 5 hours!!! Bustter called my husband saying that Lala had an urinary infection and gave her antibiotics and some liquids. Lala passed away 36 hours after that of a cardiac arrest. Dr. Busster wasn't there, she went out of town. Dr. Goldstein cannot give us all the answers to all our questions since "he was not her doctor" he said. 4 days have gone by and we still have not heard from Dr. Bustter. Nor have we received a sympathy cards as most practices would. Maybe last Friday was Lala's day to leave us, but the lack of compassion from this practice is what pains us the most. Good luck with your pet. God bless.
