As an avid lover of dogs, and, a successful pet-related business owner, I highly recommend the entire crew of doctors and staff at Animal Hospital of Fort Lauderdale... simply the best!

I couldn't disagree more with "Brandy"'s review of this vet. I've been taking my two dogs here for four year and am very happy with the service. I occasionally board my dogs there as well. I don't tend to comparison shop, so I don't know how they compare on price, but I'm very pleased with them on other levels.

The vet wasn't HORRIBLE, but the place is entirely poorly managed (and somewhat old and unclean). I spent an hour waiting, only to talk to the vet for 15 minutes. Most of the time she wouldn't listen and just kept talking, but I was stunned when she said she was going to go check on the name of a medication....and never returned! After 10 minutes I went to the front counter only to find out that she was in with another patient! I told them I had to leave, as I had another appointment in 4 minutes. Thanks to them, my next appointment was cancelled because I was 5 minutes late. It was clear that they didn't care about me or my time, so it made me question how much they would really care about my pet. It was obvious to me that they are just after the money. They charged me 50 bucks for this quality time. Please don't waste your money or time like I did. You can most definitely find better care for your pet elsewhere.
