I recently found a small kitten in our shop. After trying to get the kitten to the Humane Society, I was advised they could not take him in and had to go to the Broward animal shelter. After visiting the Broward shelter I was told they could take the kitten but that small animals weighing less than 2 lbs would be put to sleep. I decided to keep the kitten, now named Samson. I was concerned with Samson's health (I've never had a pet before). He seemed well, but I noticed some problems with him pooping. His poop was a bit runny, like diarrhea. I looked up for a vet online and found OPAH, which is literally 2 minutes from where I live. I scheduled and appointment online for today, Monday 11/10/2014 at 9AM. I truthfully appreciate the team at OPAH. They treated Samson with great care and were extremely thorough with Samson's assessment. They performed a complete bill of health and prescribed exactly what he needed. I left Samson at home and left for work. As soon as I came home after work, Samson seemed like a brand new kitten. He was really hungry, very active and for the first time finally his poop was normal, solid and brown. This made me so amazingly happy! Samson is a great kitten, healthy and is getting better! OPAH really knows their stuff! The price I paid was well worth it, Samson is irreplaceable and they truthfully cared for him as one of their own. I am disappointed by some reviews that give the clinic a low score. I feel these low scores are because those people think of animals as objects rather than loving, caring lives. I would gladly pay thousands for Samson's health and well-being. I think, if people have a problem with costs and treatment requirements, maybe they should think twice about being responsible of a "life". Anyway, OPAH, thanks alot!!

Dr. Ratnoff was very nice. It made the whole process much better, because of his attention, and ease.

Our dog was badly injured on his left leg and paw. It was touch and go whether he would lose his foot. Great care and emergency care and our dog Pierre is 100% We are so grateful. Thank you so much. It was devastating but we had a happy ending

Dr. Ratnoff was extremely helpful. He treated myself & my dog with the utmost care. On top of what she needed taken care of today he went above & beyond to show me what other services would improve my dog's health. He also worked with my financial situation which was very beneficial for me. Extremely grateful!

I adopted a beautiful Stratfordshire Terrier last April. Smart as they come and fits all the characteristics of the breed, "power chewer". She managed to get the knot loose from one of her toys that had a rope that pulled through the ball we use at the water park. Suddenly she was not eating, and it was apparent that something was not right with her. Dr. Ratnoff was not my original vet - however I took my baby to him for a second opinion. Dr. Ratnoff was compassionate and took the time to get to know my girl and quickly began to look at our options. Dr. Ratnoff gave me three treatment plans and I am so glad that I trusted his expertise. The choices ranged from low end costs to high end. We agreed upon the middle ground - and WOW all I can say is THANK YOU Dr Ratnoff and staff for all your attention and caring for my girl. Explaining treatment options, and keeping me informed all along the way was crucial in the positive outcome. I highly recommend this office as they truly care about their patients and their 2-legged family members.
