I am always blown away with the helpfulness of the staff here. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! Thank you guys for being so great.

HORRIBLE! That's all I can say about this place just HORRIBLE. I rushed my cat to them with a blocked urethra and kidney stones but they refused to treat him all because I didn't have a lousy $35. Instead they told me to take him home and come back when I had the money, my cat died that night. I don't expect free service or hand outs but for God's sake how can you be so cruel to let an animal suffer like that?! I would have gotten the money within 24 hours but that wasn't good enough. I hope that $35 dollars comes back to haunt them all.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Baseline Animal Hospital. Staff has always been courteous, Butch is always friendly and compassionate to your pets ills and needs. I must say I do find it very odd the previous poster made the receptionist call him back when she could pronounce and spell his name correctly. I find such behavior absurd and this attitude most likely garnered the alleged attitude from the worker.

At first I was delighted with Baseline and the Vet, Butch. I had to be away for three weeks, and so I arranged to have my JRT boarded with them. I also intended for her to be spayed while I was gone. When I arrived at Baseline to drop off my dog, I was greeted by a strange face, who said, "What do you want?" I replied that I was there to have my dog boarded. So I asked for a piece of white paper and began to write down all the pertinent information with contact numbers etc. While I was writing, the unfriendly receptionist asked, "Have you boarded here before?" I responded "No, I have not" - because although I had been to the Vet's before, I had not boarded her there before. So the lady stuck a full form into a clip board, and handed it to me to fill out even though I had already finished filling out the blank paper as she watched. I dropped the pencil on the desk, and asked to speak to Butch. Then I went outside. Butch quickly appeared and accused me of mistreating his help. He said the receptionist claimed that I threw a pen at her, which I certainly did not do. I had to leave my dog with Butch, but if I did not have to catch a plane, I would have walked at that point and gone elsewhere. Baseline knew exactly how long I would be gone and I had made specific plans with them to pay them on my return. But I no sooner woke up on the morning following my return, when I got a call from another woman at Baseline. She started with, :"Is this Mr. Finkner?" My name is Finkenaur, and Butch knew how to pronounce my name when he accused me of throwing a pen at his receptionist. So I told the lady to look carefully at the spelling of my name and to call me back when she had practiced how to pronounce it. I got a call later from the friendly receptionist, and I told her I would be in ASAP that morning to settle accounts. When I got there, the "Mr Finkner" woman was waiting for me. She said I was rude to her. Not a mention that she had been rude to me! I asked her to please spell the first 6 letters of my name. FINKEN that is Finken.... not Finkner! AUR might be a problem, but I am use to having that mangled. Gee, she did not have any problems accepting my credit card, which also says Finkenaur. So now the dog goes to Maricamp Animal Hospital where they are very nice and have no problem pronouncing my name. One side note, when I took the dog to Baseline, she did not have fleas. When I got her back, she was covered with fleas, and I had to get a flea treatment from Maricamp Animal Hospital.
