Had an appointment to drop my dog off to get her teeth cleaned. They told me to drop her of by 8:00 a.m. Got there at 7:45, but nobody from Banfield showed up until 8:50. I told them I was told to bring her in by 8 and the receptionist started to argue with me. "I made the appointment, it was for 9." I gave her my name and she said my appointment was for next week. I have been working overtime for the past two months and finally got a Friday off so I could drop my dog off. I made the appointment for the only day I had off, not next week when I have to work. After making me wait for an hour, they refused to take my pet! I got home and looked on the notepad where I wrote down the information for my appointment and I had written down, "drop her off by 8:00. No food or drink after midnight. Friday the 20th." I brought her in at 8:00 on Friday the 20th and they refused to take her. Complete waste of time. Do yourself a favor, find another vet.

The Staff doesn't seem very excited about their job which should tell you something. There are comments below with 5 stars by the hosptial themselves, if thats not a red flag I don't know what is. No one seems really concerned about my pet, it's more of a 1 goes in, you bill them or write up a bunch of rediculous estimates about procedures and surgeries your pet really probably doesn't need, and then its on to the next.. Everytime I have went there the doctors change, you never see the same doctor there for more than a year. I'm writing this review because I'm fed up. Bansfield is a chain and the people they employee don't seem to hold true to the veterinary oath. They seem to employ unexperienced young doctors who are trained to upsell. I brought my dog in and the charged me a crazy amount for some procedures and then pushed an immediate surgery costing thousands of dollars. I took my same dog to Park ave vet in apopka and they said my dog is fine, and he is fine. thank god I didn't follow the directions of this clinic. All they do is try to find ways to make money off you and your pet. Do yourself a favor, take the drive and go to park ave vet in apopka, they are truly the most caring, genuine and educated vet I've ever experienced and in case of and ER you actually call the doctors directly, your not pushed onto and expensive after hours clinic with some weird doctor you don't know. DON'T GO HERE.

I haven't even been in the doors yet & I'm already upset. I called & spoke to a bunch of people that just kept putting me back on hold & wouldn't answer my question. How can you run a business like this? When you start losing customers before they walk in the door that's when it turns into a pretty pathetic situation.

I have had a couple of bad experiences with this location, Mostly the Doctor he has tried to upsell me on every visit. The Staff is unfriendly and they dont seem to know what they are doing. The first occasion they tried to over charge me with fees unrelated to our visit. We caught it on our bill and showed the receptionist and she took the charges off and refunded the money. The next visit the Doctor Insulted us by explaining to us that cropping dogs ears is cruelty to animals and that only bad dog owners would do that to their animals. I don't mind people having opinions but I didn't pay you for your opinion on animal rights, I pay you to ensure my dog is healthy period. Avoid this establishment if possible

I worked for this barfield and its sister branch in winter garden they are both owned by dr.daniels and I will recommend that NO ONE EVER take your pets to either hospital, they do not care about ur pets they are unprofessional , they are a dirty, nasty hospital they are unsanitary and many more things. And they only care about money their staff are worthless and uneducated. So if you care about your pet do NOT bring them to these 2 hospitals .
