This place is a big scam. All they want is your money and a lot of it on top of it. They take advantage of the people, who are worried about their pets and charge enormous amount of money. I paid the Dr. visit of $85 and they did not do anything, not one think besides asking me a bunch of questions and giving me an estimate of $2400, because my dog is dehydrated and has diarrhea. I went to SPCA clinic (which I should have done in the first place, but I thought they were closed on weekends) and they offered me a better treatment for my dog for only $350. This people were planning to rip me off over $2000. Shameful. Plus their assistant, Jenny is really some piece of work. She has an attitude, talks down to people, slams doors, has no compassion for my dog and is very sarcastic. Worst place I have ever been. I will post and make people aware of this place in every forum and post I can find on the web. And note to the owner, since I am sure you want to reply. I will let everyone know how you are ripping people off. If you want to show people that you actually care, refund me my $85 that you only charged me so you can write me a $2400 estimate and tell me that if I won't keep my dog with you overnight, he might die. And to make matters worse, this owner responded with unbelievable accusations. She is such a lair. Folks be aware of this place. She accused me for messing up her toilet when it was already clogged up, since her staff is so incompetent of cleaning the restroom. Also, I never told threatened her in any way, but I got very upset when she told me that if I leave without their treating my dog, my beloved dog with die. Now that is a great scare tactic. Also, you should treat your staff more professionalism, since your assistance Jenny slammed the door in my face and then when she came back in, she start pointing her index finger in my face. Please be very aware of this space. Spread the word. They are just a bunch of ripe offs and they don't care about your pet.

I have had to visit this Vet ER four times in the past few years. Every experience has been professional and caring and you can tell the staff care about what they do. When I'm taking my cat to the ER, I am worried that his life is in danger and expect that it might not always be easy to determine the reason. Every time they give me a diagnostic plan they explain to me what each item on the list is for, why they are suggesting it and why they think it's important to be done right then. I've never felt anything they offered was unnecessary but they always let me know what they think is most important in case I have limited funds. Once they have a diagnosis, they do the same thing with plan of care and again go through it with me so I understand the what and why of what needs to be done to get my animal out of danger. I have trusted the lives of 3 cats to them and feel safer knowing they are always there if I have an emergency. I even have their number in my phone because I know I wouldn't take them anywhere else for an emergency. As for the TV's someone else mentioned. They really aren't that expensive these days and as someone that has spent countless hours in both human and animal ER's, it is a thousand times better to distract yourself than just sit there chewing on your nails and staring at the walls when you're worried about a loved one. They are to make your experience a little easier. I would recommend them to anyone with a pet emergency.

I have to send a very big and heartfelt THANK YOU to the entire staff at Animal Emergency Center- Orlando, FL. You ensured my dog Phoebe was pain-free and comfortable during her last month with us. Phoebe has always been timid when entering any animal center but your team was so patient and loving with her that I think she actually enjoyed visiting you. When it came time to say goodbye, your team ensured she and I were comfortable and most importantly that she left this world peacefully. Seeing her health decline, and of course saying goodbye, was the most difficult thing I have ever had to experience. Your team made this difficult time comfortable for me but most importantly gave my Phoebe the best possible care and love. I am forever grateful.

Worst place on the face of this planet. The reviewer from 2008 was absolutely correct. This vet was very dry, did not make us comfortable, was impersonal and barely laid a hand on my dog. My husband and I brought our elderly pet to this clinic after waking to find blood everywhere in our house. She had a cut on her ear that would not stop bleeding. I arrived to this "emergency" hospital, covered in blood and was taken in right away. That's about the only thing they got right. Then, as my dog lay bleeding out on the floor of their exam room, the vet tech thought it would be more important to get us to fill out paper work rather than tend to our profusely bleeding dog. After the paper work was filled out he went back to "enter it into their system" and told us the vet would be in shortly. After at least a 30 minute wait the vet came in (all the while my dog continued to bleed and they didn't even offer up some gauze for me to hold pressure on the wound) and said she would have to run blood work, but not before collecting $403 for their "services". They took our dog back and 10 minutes later came in and said there was nothing they could do, our dog had lost too much blood. They put a bandage on her head and we took her home. Later that night we had to put our baby to sleep feeling horrible for taking her to a vet, wasting our time, money and energy on a place that couldn't have shown less compassion for a dying animal. Shame on this lousy facility and their exam rooms with 42" flat screen TV's. I guess I see why they charge so much for nothing. I should note, we asked what we paid $403 for and we were granted a $128 refund. So we paid nearly $300 for a bandaid. Do NOT, under any circumstances, take any pet to this place unless you enjoy being ripped off and dealing with people who just don't care. I would give 0 stars as a rating, but it doesn't allow for that.

To the doctors and the wonderful staff at the Animal Emergency Center. We would like to thank you for doing everything you could to save our little girl Chloe. We didn’t get to have her as long as we wanted, but they can’t live forever. We appreciate everything you did to help us during this transition.
