I have had an emergency with my cat today. Brought my cat to see Dr. Doug Jones and after determining that my cat needed emergency surgery for a urinary blockage, Dr. Doug made my child his #1 priority. I WISH all humans could be so caring, while explaining EVERYTHING that needs to be taken care of. I would not go to any other Doc. I wish he would be able to take care of humans also. THANK YOU Dr. Doug. YOUR THE BEST!!!!!

Dr. Jones REALLY took his time. Was very thorough, helpful and great with my two dogs. Great 'bedside' manner with people & animals. Knowledgeable & made sure we understood the dogs problems, disease progressions, etc... Would recommend.

As you may recall, my 11 year old Persian cat (“Booboo” because he looked like a little Bear) and I met with Dr Jones a few weeks ago. Debbie took my initial call for the appointment and she could tell right away that I was frantic and worried about my pet. She managed to fit us in for an appointment later that day. I was able to get Booboo's file faxed to me from his regular veterinarian back home in Orleans, Ontario, Canada. When Booboo and I met Dr. Jones he could see that my little guy was sick and thus did the blood work and other necessary tests to determine a diagnosis. I was extremely confident during this initial appointment that Booboo and I had come to the right vet.  Dr. Jones is the nicest veterinarian that I know aside from Booboo’s regular vet Dr. Mary Ellen Dunning from home.   The following morning, panic stricken, I called Dr. Jones’ office at 6:30 am and left a voice message.  Booboo was not doing well that morning. Dr. Jones called me back at 9am and told me to come in as soon as I could get there. Unfortunately, the blood test results for Booboo were not good at all. Dr. Jones explained to me in great detail what was going on with Booboo and what my options were. As a responsible pet owner I had to make the right decision for Booboo since he was suffering. Quality of life is so important for any living being and I just didn’t feel that Booboo had that anymore.   During this very difficult time, Dr. Jones showed such compassion towards Booboo and myself.  He treated the situation with such sensitivity.  He was wonderful to deal with and he clearly demonstrated how much he cares for animals and the passion that he has for his job.   Booboo and I are/were very lucky to have found Dr. Jones. I must have had a guardian angel here with me for this matter.   I have some additional words of appreciation:   Thank you to Debbie who took my initial call and managed to get an urgent appointment for Booboo and I with Dr. Jones.
