I have been going to Edgewater Animal Hospital for over 18 years. Dr. Bowen has helped me through several dire emergencies and the loss of my first dog. He and his staff are caring and compassionate and put the welfare of the animal first. They have always been very sensitive about the financial end of things, carefully explaining my options and different courses of treatment and relating the costs of each. I don't know how expensive they are compared to other vets but with the level of care I have received for my animals I have never even considered going elsewhere.

Knowledgeable techs and veterenians. Lots of care went into peaby. Wait time was a bit much, but after my last vet I made the switch to Edgewater animal hospital. They did not try to sell me extra services or extra medicine that was not needed.

I try to avoid doctors of all types and have taken my pets to a non-traditional vet. But my old cat was having some health issues and he needed more than acupuncture and herbs for awhile, so I found Dr. Bowen. He is a very sweet and caring vet, and takes a LOT of time and care to see the pet and inform the owner. This can account for a bit of a wait sometimes, but I would rather wait a bit then know when it is my turn, I will get all the extra attention too. I have now had 2 animals there to see him, and am very satisfied. I have no issue paying for his services as I realize he has many years of expertise and frankly, it is harder to become a vet than it is a general medical doctor.

Dr. Bowen is the best ! He takes his time with your pet, you may have to wait sometimes but it is totally worth it. I've been taking my dog there for several years and just recently took in a sick feral (stray) cat and Dr. Bowen was so very compassionate for this stray as though it was our family pet. I thank him and his staff for the the excellent care that I have always received.

For over 20 years, I have been taking my pets to Dr. Bowen and his loving staff! Even after moving further away, it's worth the drive to get this kind of loving care...the staff treats each pet like family! I've laughed and cried with Dr. Bowen and his staff...if you want quality and loving care...this is your place!
