Excellent service. Caring, friendly staff. Better than many "human hospitals". Long wait but completely understandable. A triage process will determine priority as it should.

Three weeks ago, our 15 1/2 year old dog collapsed late at night. We knew it was the end for him, but we still rushed him to the Emergency Vet Clinic of Central Florida in Orlando because we didn't want him to suffer. They took us in immediately, and were very kind and compassionate, as well as competent. They let us wait for other family members coming from Tampa for as long as we needed to. We put our dog down that night, and the staff were sympathetic and understanding. Much to my surprise, we ended up back at Vet Emergency Clinic today (a Sunday) with our new puppy, who had a reaction to her DHLPP vaccine she had yesterday. Again, we were impressed with the staff. Our puppy was better within minutes of receiving an injection they gave her. I would highly recommend them when you cannot see your regular vet. I actually liked the vet we saw today so much, I googled where his practice is to try to switch (sad that he practices an hour from our home).

My quaker parrot had an accident and she was bleeding out. It was after hours and I called this clinic asking if they had an avian vet available that could see her. My poor baby was covered in blood. The receptionist said yes, they did have an avian vet on call but he would not see me because I was not a regular customer of Winter Park Animal Hospital. When I explained that my bird would likely die if they did not see her, she said that she understood that and did not care. Of course I would have already been paying the extra hundreds of dollars for an after-hours visit, but they preferred to let my bird die than make the extra cash and see a new patient.

I wouldn't give even this place one star. When you come to a place in the middle of the night, they have you by the balls and they know it. They price gouge and do very amateur work at that. Take great care of your dog so that you don't have an experience with these guys. If you find yourself in need of an emergency vet, stay clear of this place.

We took my dying dog here, and the staff was very courteous that night. The girl who was taking care of the payment debited my account $333 dollars which is what the Veterinary Emergency Clinic.Overall I was satisfied with the services. A week later, I've got the ashes and to my surprise my dog's ashes were put in a wrong urn the one that is $150 and the paw print was not captured.So what I have now is a wrong urn, and not paw print. So now I have to deal with the lost of my dog who was with me for 14 years and also the aggravation that this hospital has caused me and my family. I've spoken to several members of the hospital, the receptionist who obviously has nothing to do with these matter was polite and somewhat caring; however, everyone else turned out to be so rude. The veterinarian in charge Jennifer on August 30th was extremely rude. She told me that there is nothing she could do and then hung up the phone on me. Caroline who oversees these three location in Florida had not clue of anything and spent most of the time making assumptions about the reasons of the mistake and without a definitive answer. She was also very argumentative and without little remorse of what had occurred. I will be definitely seeking legal action against this company. I will be definitely reporting this company to Best business bureau and to all social network I have knowledge of. So my advice to you is to find for alternative to this hospital/clinic.After 2 1/2 months without an urn or communication from them, I took them to court where they made an offer during mediation, so it won t reach to the Judge. Worst experience ever with a business!
