Second visit in 4 years. Both have turned out great. Doctor and the staff are awesome! Around midnight, my dog got a nail stuck in his foot from a reroof done at our house. He was very nervous and scared. They took charge and fixed him up. Very fair pricing, and caring staff. If the staff reads this, thank you very much! Jake and I are extremely grateful. A nightmare. On 7 Dec 14, I had to bring my 17 y.o. dog in to be euthanized as he could no longer see or walk. I had discussed the procedure with my regular vet before. Sedate the dog first, then deliver the euthanasia via I.V. push after dog is sleeping. However, that wasn't the way this vet (Dr. Miller) wanted to do it. Bottom line, they made my dog scream while trying 3 times to insert the catheter into his little left forearm. I protested and tried to find the doctor throughout the clinic to insist on the sedative. The doctor didn't respond and there were no other clients. After the vet techs had relented with their venipuncture attempts, one of the vet techs came out of the treatment room and giggled at me as I insisted to discuss Plan B with the doctor. Finally, the doctor came around with the sedative and injected my dog's right buttock. I held him in my arms as he fell asleep. Then, and only then, was the doctor able to deliver the final dose of euthanasia after removing the syringe cap with his teeth. The owner obviously doesn't think anyone with medical intelligence is watching. They are sadly mistaken. I will indeed be providing my vet a courtesy copy of my report as well as a copy to the FL Veterinary Licensing Board.

If you love and adore your pet's like i do, never ever bring your beloved pets to this place. the office staff suck's and the Doctor suck's even more. this place should be shut down. I brought in my dog that was dying to this place and all i got was no compassion and understanding for my pet. this place should be shut down and never ever allowed to practice emergency care.

I found a sickly rabbit in my yard today. Called the Humane Society - and they said I could bring him in but they don't have any medical personnel in on Sunday to care for him. I wasn't sure he was going to make it through the night - so I stopped by the Animal Emergency & Urgent Care on US19 on the way to the Humane Society and explained the situation. They agreed to take the rabbit in at no cost to me, and do what they could for him. I'm really impressed! Thank you!!!

Called for puppy eating half tab of migraine medicine.. was told there would be an exam and THEN treatment plan presented with fees and treatment. They made us sign the "intake form" and took him in the back to induce vomiting.. never met the vet until after the treatment.. That doesn't sound legal to me. Last time I checked a Vet must diagnose not a tech. They then presented a very costly treatment plan and we decided to take our puppy home and we will never be back.
