My dog was having a problem with his collapsed trachea and rushed him there in the middle of the night. I work for a vet and unfortunately was closed and couldn't get him there. I take him to this place... Clueless doctor! He had no idea what to do! I had to leave him there overnight on oxygen. I had such a bad feeling leaving him there. Doctor and staff seemed like idiots but I trusted my yorkie "Baby" would be okay until the following day. That next day I called several times asking about his condition so I could transfer him to my hospital. Each time they said he was doing good and the doctor will call soon. I didn't hear from the doctor until later that day saying "Baby" didn't make it. The ONLY time he spoke to me! He didn't even come out to talk to me when I went to get his body. No answers from ANYONE!THE WORDS AND FEELINGS I HAVE ABOUT THIS PLACE I CAN'T EVEN REPEAT! They have no clue what they are doing. The doctor shouldn't even be there for emergencies if he doesn't know the common protocols for EM situations... He shouldn't be a vet AT ALL! I should have taken him to Hollywood animal hospital. It may have cost more money but taking him to these people cost his life and I regret it everyday! NEVER TAKE YOUR PET THERE!!!
My dog had a deadly infection in her uterus and they gave me the WRONG DIAGNOSIS. They told me something else was might be wrong and wanted to charge me ridiculous fees to keep her overnight and do all sorts of tests and medications. I knew it was fishy because they didn't seem to have the slightest clue and kept coming up with possibilities. I decided not to go with their diagnoses and took Mia to another vet where they informed me of her infection that was already too far along. She had to be put down. She had Pyometra (which is by no means uncommon in older female dogs) and after the brief history of Mia just giving birth to her puppies and being an older dog, the vet at St. Francis was still clueless. Seems as though they only care about charging you up the wazoo! What a shame.
If you are looking for a vet to judge your price based on the type of vehicle you drive this is the place to be. The doctors were great but the office manager is very rude and disrespectful. She will insult you in your face and not think twice about who she is speaking to. She even speaks to her employees like they are the dogs. Please do not go to this clinic
Terrible service. Staff was overwhelmed and under manned. Services for pets were either delayed and or not available (i.e. oxygen for my pet). The doctor ascribed that our pet should be taken to another hospital 4 hours later to get the adequate care she needed. I would not recommend this Animal hospital to anyone who loves there pet.
