The first thing I notices upon entering this place was the smiles and greeting from the staff that seems to be always helpful and happy to see me and my pets. Another great thing I noticed was how clean it was. Other hospitals I have been to always smell like animals or pee. This place was different! They practice great medicine and care so much about my pets. I have been to other animal places and never got the treatment I did here. They are not afraid to answer any of my questions or show off their hospital. I'm glad I found them and will continue to recommend them.

My dog Ellie loves it here. Every time we come in she gets excited to see all of her friends here at animal hospital of pensacola. All of the staff is friendly and really care what happens to my animals unlike other places i have taken her to.

AMAZING HOSPITAL!! AMAZING DOCTORS!! AMAZING STAFF!! You truly get what you need here. They are even open on the weekends all day and don't charge more when you need them. If it wasn't for them my baby girl wouldn't be with me today.

I LOVE Animal Hospital of Pensacola!! In July 2012, I welcomed two pups that were rescued in Afghanistan by soldiers stationed there. The soldiers were unable to adopt the pups themselves (a momma and her puppy) but wanted badly to get the pups to the USA through a rescue organization that I support. The pups had comforted and entertained the soldiers during their time in Afghanistan and they fell in love with them and could not send them 'outside the wire' when they left to be starved or abused as a pet culture does not exist there. Fast forward a year, our girls, Siena and Olive, have acclimated to the USA well. Siena, the momma, who is approx 3 y/o, lived part of her life fending and protecting herself without vet care before the soldiers found her. Following her spay, there were symptoms that could not be explained and Dr. Angela Bentley kept researching the symptoms and ultimately diagnosed Siena with a cancer that is not often found in the USA. Seven weekly visits of chemo followed and Siena happily greeted her 'team' for each treatment and to spend the night so she could have a quiet night away from our other pups and their instigation to play!! Each treatment day, one of the tech's Siena had gotten familiar with would come greet her crouching down to her level and give her a good face rub, often it was Dr. Bentley who would come out. Following treatment, Dr. Bentley would call and let me know all went well and give me an update on changes to the tumor from the previous week. If I wanted to come see her that evening, the staff was most accommodating; however, leaving her was so hard I did not go often. The next day I would pick her up after work and she would be with someone at the clinic (behind the desk just lounging, with Dr. Bentley checking emails) unless there was an emergency to which I completely understood!! The attention given Siena when allowed is so appreciated that how could we not understand when that attention is needed for those pets far more in need. Siena was always happy to see me and GO HOME! But she was very agreeable during her seven weeks of treatment and to this day enjoys seeing her friends at the vet!! I can tell you how I feel about Animal Hospital of Pensacola but I think the best reviewer is Siena.....she is a pup that continues to struggle with memories of abuse endured while in Afghanistan but when she sees her Dr. Bentley, Siena makes a beeline for her with eyes bright and tail just a wagging, each and every time! Dr. B gets down on Siena's level, if not sitting with her on the floor. The two enjoy a little 'hello' with some good ear rubs and gentle little kisses....you can't pull one over on Siena and her comfort at Animal Hospital of Pensacola is something I will not compromise. I was looking for a new vet when we adopted our A-stan girls as I wanted a clinic that got that my pets (of which I have had many, mostly rescues, in the 30+ years I have lived in Pensacola) are my FAMILY!! When Dr. Bentley greets my 'kids' and we all sit on the floor discussing them, I believe she gets it......I trust Dr. B. implicitly and am very thankful for her and her team at Animal Hospital of Pensacola.

I have taken my dogs here since I adopted Sammie in October 2004; however, I will never be going back after the way Smudge was never looked at the entire 6+ hours they had him while I was at work. I dropped him off on my way to work because he'd started constantly shaking his head kate Thursday evening. Obviously, since I wasn't waiting at the vet, checking on his ear wasn't a priority. I called a little after 2 p.m to check on him but was told he had yet to be looked at. I called a little before 5 p.m. but was told he still hadn't been looked at even though they close at 6 p.m. on Saturdays. I arrived at the vet a little after 5:20 p.m. to discover that Smudge had never been looked at because an emergency had come up. The vet tech said that I could leave Smudge overnight and that the boarding fee would be waived. I refused and ended up taking him to the ER vet instead since it was still very obvious that Smudge was in distress from his ear infection.
